  Although I train at Gracie Barra Houston, I travel to San Antonio monthly to train with Roland Malone, a Pedro Sauer Black Belt to improve my Jiu Jitsu. I am 58 years old and need effective old school techniques that work against speed, size and strength. I would recommend anyone visiting or living in the San Antonio area to visit and train with him.

  Great experience. I visited from out of town. The team was very welcoming and had a friendly vibe. The class was taught with a focus on concepts instead of technique which allows for development of a long term game. Thanks for the great class Roland Malone!

  I have known Professor Malone since 1995 when we started doing Jiu-Jitsu together. His no nonsense self defense works. As a Police Office and combat veteran I have used these techniques many times and they have saved my life. We are a family and he is my brother as well as my professor.

  DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION if you are looking for a Pedro Sauer affiliate school! Whoever was the Pedro Sauer Black Belt that taught at this location is no longer here. It has been replaced by Ronin MMA.

  Roland is great! I was training under him when ever I was in S.A., but recently I started training under him full time. High spirit, enthusiasm and vast knowledge.
