My whole family loves training here! The kids ju jitsu classes are phenomenal. Professor Santiago is doing a great job teaching the littles and the adult classes. The wrestling classes are top notch. They have one for the littles and one for the older kids. The kids Muay Thai class with Tony is awesome! He puts them through a tough workouts and teaches good habits so they can reach their full potential. He also teaches an adult Muay Thai class in the mornings that is I highly recommend! The gym offers a free trail class so come try it! There are a lot of classes available so check out their website for a current schedule.

Monarch Academy is great! Carlos and Andrew have been amazing since the grand opening. We’ve been able to trial out a class before any commitment and they work with you every step of the way! Excited to start with them.

Wife and I spent couple of weeks trying out other BJJ/MMA gyms and Monarch was our top choice for our family. Their coaches are very professional and personable and have a way of making learning fun for my little ones and me…fun, safe, and challenging all at the same time. Regardless of experience levels, it feels like everyone training at Monarch encourage and help each other…genuinely makes you feel part of a team. Best decision we could’ve made!

As a newcomer to BJJ I felt very comfortable! Everyone is there to learn no matter the level of knowledge. The most important thing for me was that the whole gym was CLEAN. The mats, bathrooms everything. The attention to detail is incredible.

As an MMA / BJJ fan, having been to numerous gyms in the RGV, Houston, San Antonio area, this is my favorite as I feel it excels other gyms in the attentiveness and patience of the coaches. Their experience not only made me more confident in enjoying the sport, but knowing they were doing their best to make sure I didn’t put myself in a position to get injured, and to be safer in a position where I need to use self defense. I will be attending this club as my home club.

Great gym that was recommended to me through friends! Super friendly staff who prioritize your comfort, are extremely friendly and helpful with any questions for novices to any of the combats sports. Truly the best place for beginners who want to get trained in either MMA, Mutai, boxing, wrestling, and jiu jitsu. Special thanks to Andrew for all his help!

My friend recommended Monarch jiujitsu because she knew I was looking to start self defense classes. I am so happy I went by and gave it a shot. They definitely have a new member!!! Coaches are nice, friendly, and professional. I felt so comfortable and learned the basic fundamentals of self defense that I needed. I highly recommend this place.

As a mom of a teenager, I can honestly say it's been difficult finding a place where a teenage girl will feel respected and guided by her coaches. Monarch Jiu Jitsu has shown the utmost respect and excellent guidance. Thank you for an amazing experience.

I can’t say enough great things about this new Jiu-Jitsu gym! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facility is spotless, well-equipped, and designed with both beginners and advanced practitioners in mind. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about what they do. They take the time to break down techniques in a way that’s easy to understand and ensure every student feels supported and challenged. It’s clear they truly care about their students’ progress and development. The community here is amazing! Everyone is friendly, respectful, and dedicated to helping each other improve.
