We are a martial arts school, that specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which is a form of self defense,it is also a very big competitive sport and has much to do with Mixed Martial Arts. We offer classes to men, women and children of all ages.
Wonderful experience with professor Paulo Ribiero and his team. I have been training fifteen years and learned new stuff on a random Saturday drop in. Five of his black belts took the time to introduce themselves and roll with me. I was welcomed and treated with great respect. Clean mats and bathrooms. I'll be back for more rounds. Thank you!

I went with six coworkers for a two hour women’s “Crash Course” in self-defense and we had an amazing time. Natalie, our professor, was very informative and patient with us. We all learned a lot. I had recently come down from Connecticut for a couple of weeks to visit family. I needed to find a school to train at while I was down here so I looked online for area schools and I came across Paulo Ribeiro BJJ after reading all the positive reviews. It certainly did not disappoint. Prof.Ribeiro and Prof. Mike were very welcoming and are great teachers. I ended doing two drop in classes and the techniques drilled in class were very practical for all levels and I had a great time drilling and rolling with all of my training partners who were all very friendly and welcoming as well. I look forward to training here again in the future the next time I that I visit.
PRBJJ is a great place to learn the "gentle art". I have been training there since December and have really enjoyed my experience. Professor Paulo is an amazing instructor and the passion and excitement he has for teaching jiu-jitsu is palpable throughout his academy. He teaches both competition style and self defense jiu-jitsu and genuinely cares that his students not only learn the principles, but can apply the techniques when needed. The camaraderie with other students is fantastic with everyone helping each other to get better while having fun at the same time. Highly recommended!

I am in town part of the rebuild efforts. My Professor has been friends with Paulo for decades. Paulo is a great Champion and runs an amazing gym. His academy has high level jujitsu and 1st class athletes. After lunch class on Friday 5 of the higher belts invited be to lunch. I know I have a safe place to train hard while I workout of town. If your in Naples you can't find a better place to train.
Got the opportunity to train with professor Paulo during my visit to Naples. The professors and students were all incredibly welcoming and accomodating, and the gym had a very friendly and familial atmosphere. Professor Paulo has some great details for the techniques he shows and is open to answering any question you have on a given move. Very appreciative of the time I was able to spend at this gym.
I found Professor and his lovely wife through the reviews and finally started my training journey after years in the power lifting world. I just started my journey with private lessons, and am hooked (No pun intended). I can very clearly see this is going to be a lifelong commitment i'm looking forward too. I love this place because it feels like a small family environment, you don't ever feel like a customer!!! What's even more impressive to me is the kind of people the Professor and his wife are. PRBJJ is an absolutely fantastic jiujitsu academy. Both professor Paulo and professor Natalie are excellent top notch instructors. My daughter attends the junior classes 3 times a week with professor Natalie and loves it. It gives her a great boost in confidence while giving her a sense of discipline and respect. I attend adult classes 4-6 times a week with professor Paulo and cannot express enough how lucky I feel to have such a incredible professor for my jiujitsu journey. He takes the time to make sure you understand and perform the techniques he demonstrates individually as you go about class. All of the other students are great people and make the entire experience phenomenal. This is one of the best things you can do for your child and yourself.
I have been a student of this gym for two years. It has changed my life mentally, physically, and emotionally. Both professors are amazing coaches but, more importantly, amazing people. In my short time, I have seen how much they truly care about each person that comes into the gym. It is not just a place to learn how to defend yourself but a community of great people who support one another daily. You get out what you put in. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Excellent instructions and explanations with demonstrations how to complete the move, followed immediately by drill to solidify the technique in your mind and body Professor Paulo is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to explain in great details how a move is accomplished. My son joined a few months ago and I’m happy to report that he loves going back there, considering he was not a fan of all previous activities that he had attended. The lessons are fun and entertaining.I like the fact that they have coaches on the mats to offer personal attention to the kids.

This place is legit. Unlike the other martial arts places, Paulo and Natalie teach REAL WORLD defense and combat. They prepare you for actual real scenarios like you're likely to encounter in the real world. My 6 year old daughter loves coming here and I love that she's learning how to defend against bullies, how to avoid dangerous situations, etc. Paulo is clearly a master of his craft and his wife Natalie is amazing with the kids and well versed with special needs and special circumstances. We've tried others. This is worth the hour drive.

Our family has been attending this gym for two months now and it has exceeded our initial expectations. My son has loved the kids class. Our daughter has been gaining a lot of confidence in the women's-only class. My wife has doubled up and is training in both the women's-only and the adult class. Part of why we were so quick to sign up was how great the other students were. If you are considering taking a class, do it!

I am visiting some family in Naples and wanted to find a place I could train when here. I emailed Paulo's academy and got a quick response saying they welcome visitors as well as some pricing info. I visited this week and it was great. Paulo was very welcoming and the students were great, very friendly. I had a great time learning some new techniques and rolling with Zach and Scott. Highly recommend for anyone in the area. Will be visiting again a couple of times before I leave.

I consider myself a nerd, so the idea of martial arts is pretty intense. I was super nervous about going because I have never done anything like this before. Fast forward almost a year, I'm so glad I joined, not only do I look better, feel better and carry myself better, but I (sorry for the cliche) feel like I joined an amazing family.

Very good teacher with effective techniques in combat. Paulo takes the time to specify each movement of a technique and that's what makes this sport so interesting. I was on vacation staying in north naples. Paulo BJJ just moved into a new facility at the YMCA thats very close to where I was. Very friendly and inviting place to drop in at if you are in the area. I was visiting family in Florida and stopped in for a training session. I can say this very welcoming school. The Professor (Paulo) and his students are the epitome of good training partners. No ego, friendly and very skilled. I have to also give compliments to anyone who can train in the heat and humidity of Florida (I'm a Canadian and its only ever this warm for a few months a year). The noon session on the Friday I was there was all sparring roles with upper belts who had great games and great flow and transition between positions. When I am in Florida again I will be stopping in. the school offers daily and weekly rates if you are visiting so feel free to contact the school and arrange some top notch training.

Our son Zachary is thoroughly enjoying the Jiu Jitsu instruction from Professor Paulo and Natalie. I've been training with Professor Paulo at this school for two months now. This school is the real deal! Professor Paulo is very detail oriented especially when it comes to technique. The classes are organized and facilities are great. This team has a great passion for BJJ that is highly contagious. Finally, when you drill and roll this class is loaded with higher ranks.
