Can't tell you enough how appreciate all the couches at Parkerburg Jiu-Jitsu. Couch Mike, Jason& Abby are the best! If you are thinking of putting your kids to learn martial arts. This is the place to go, hands down.

In the past year the inconsistent hours of classes & trainers that rotate in an out leave for a not so satisfying training experience. The focus was on self defense and they have moved toward competition or what ever whim they see fit. Not showing up for scheduled classes and canceling at last minute.

This school has been the best for me and my kids. Very welcoming and patient. They truly understand that people have lives and careers that interfere with training at times. John and Valerie are genuinely interested in their students but also in making the community better. The instructors are very professional and have an exceptional skill set that they willingly share and patiently teach. I love being part of the family.
