BJJ competition in West Virginia is limited to a small number of events each year. The WVGO Official Gi and No-Gi State Championship is the main recurring tournament, and Spectrum Jiu Jitsu runs a summer scrimmage.
Other events have included Flow State Martinsburg and a NEWBREED West Virginia Championship. Gi divisions are slightly more common than No-Gi, and few events run kids divisions. August is the main month for competition.

Kids divisions are uncommon in West Virginia, so competitors may also need to look at events in neighboring states.
