I could not love this gym more! I started in 2021 and absolutely love the kickboxing and jiu jitsu classes. The coaches are very knowledgeable and everyone is so friendly. It's like my second home.
My son and I have been taking the Brazilian jiu jitsu classes at Nova Gyms for the past several years. It has been an awesome experience learning together under the great staff at this facility. I highly recommend checking out a class and becoming a member.
I stopped in on a Monday….started training on Tuesday….took a class on Wednesday… felt like family on Thursday. I’ve been training martial arts for quite some time, and have trained at quite a few gyms across the country, the staff and students here are knowledgeable and quite welcoming. The facilities and instruction will definitely have you accomplishing your goals in no time.
Great place to train… gym has everything you need including a great group of people to train with! Was in town on business had a little free time so I stopped in to get some rolls in… will definitely be back when I’m in Milwaukee again!

I just tried a free women’s jiu-jitsus class. Im going to trial a kickboxing class but I really think I’ll be signing up for a membership. They have multiple classes and multiple types of classes..even some early bird classes....the instructor knew how to teach and demonstrate. It’s a yes from me

I absolutely LOVE taking MMA/Kickboxing at NOVA! I’ve been here for over a year and I’m so glad I’ve stayed and continued coming. The coaches are extremely helpful and they take their time when you first start out and help build your confidence. They even have Jujitsu for Adults and Kids!! If you are looking to actually SWEAT, condition your body AND ready for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place! Each class is different from the next day so you don’t feel like you are on repeat. I say: if you are ready to try something New, Fun, Challenging and feels like a Community ... come to NOVA!
If you're looking for some where to get your kids in I highly recommend here .The coach for the kids (jordan) is absolutely great with them !!!! My boy loves it and is really learning alot .

I was in Milwaukee for work and was looking for somewhere to train while there. I was welcomed in like I had been training there for years. Good facilities, nice layout, clean. The training was great, just an overall great experience. Highly recommend.

I attended the 6am classes mostly with Coach Kaz because it worked with my commute and my schedule at the time. I absolutely loved the classes. Normally the a.m. class is small so we'd get a lot of the attention to detail needed to learn the techniques. Kaz is a BJJ blackbelt with an MMA background and has been involved with wrestling since he was a kid. I can't say enough good things about the gym. I liked the coaches and the other students, the facility is clean and well maintained, there's locker rooms with showers, the list goes on and on. My commute changed and I reluctantly had to cancel my membership. Chris made it really easy to do so and took care of me right away. I'd definitely go back if I had the opportunity, 100% would recommend.
I introduced myself to Chris Martin (co-founder of Nova Gyms) at a local wrestling event after recognizing him from his videos on Facebook promoting Nova Gyms. We talked about the Jiu Jitsu programs offered, and he encouraged me to check out the class offered in Pewaukee (it’s the closet location to my home). I was hesitant at first to try something this physical at 40, with 16 years of lower back issues and 1.5 years removed from an injury that caused a number of other issues. Not only was I concerned about the possibility of re-injuring myself, but also embarrassing myself due to my complete lack of experience, and my somewhat limited physical abilities caused by my injury. I will admit, I had a serious amount of anxiety leading up to that first class. Trying something this challenging at 40….can my body handle it?...will I be able to learn both mentally and physically?....will I hold the class back due to my inexperience, and will this frustrate the other people in the class? That was December 3rd of last year, and I can say today that joining that class was one of the best decisions I have made for myself. The environment in that class is far greater than anything I could have expected. Everyone, and I mean everyone is encouraging, helpful, and willing to take the time to work with you to help you improve. The coach, Marc Laimon is a wealth of knowledge, and an exceptional instructor. On a number of occasions he has taken the time to personally go over the smallest of details with me, showing me what I am doing wrong, how to make the correct adjustments, and making sure I clearly distinguish the differences so I know how to correctly execute a hold. As far as Jiu Jitsu itself goes, it has definitely made a very positive impact in my life. It has given me added confidence, increased my ability to focus, and has definitely helped me remain more calm in difficult or stressful situations. As I mentioned earlier, this was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. I encourage anyone who is looking to better themselves to give Nova Gyms a try. If a 40 year old introvert, with social anxieties, and a solid list of physical ailments can, there is no reason you cant give it a try either.

Our son Caleb does the kids jiu jitsu class there and he absolutely loves it, he looks forward to coming to class throughout the week. -Also the staff here is absolutely awesome, friendly and Is there to answer any questions or concerns -Great coaches, ones where you are going to get alot of skill and technique from -Very clean atmosphere -The families were so welcoming when we first started coming to Nova as a new family ALL AROUND AWESOME GYM!!
I've been going to the Nova Gym in Oak Creek for a few months now and I absolutely LOVE IT here. I initially requested a jiu jitsu trial online. Within a couple hours, Chris got back to me and invited me to come in for a free class. After that first class, I was informed that Nova also offered cardio kickboxing, MMA fundamental classes, and strength/resistance training classes. Within a couple weeks, I was hooked on EVERYTHING. The trainers are friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The people are supportive and encouraging, the atmosphere is so positive. I've never been a "gym" person, but I am 100% addicted to the experience I get at Nova. If you're looking for somewhere to start (or continue) your fitness journey I HIGHLY recommend Nova!

I’ve always wanted to get into some type Of martial arts training and I shopped around for options and the deal I got in return from Nova Gyms couldn’t be beat. I wanted this for my physical health so I wrote Nova a FB message and they got back to me with the greatest customer service, had me in for a couple free trials and I was hooked. The people there are friendly and very welcoming. They Made me feel at home from day one. I love the judgement free atmosphere and I love that all of the team members contributed to help me improve my game. There’s no such thing as individuals at this gym, we’re all part of a team and we strive to grow together.
Before Nova, I went to a different gym. I fell in love with kickboxing, but personally, I was not going to pay THAT MUCH /month where I was, so started loooking and I found Nova. Seriously, I love this place. The trainers are skilled professionals who will make sure you’re doing the techniques correctly and will always check your form. I’ve been there almost a year now. The people make you feel like family and it’s a great workout. There’s no cliqiness, family friendly atmosphere and a great group of people. Stop in for a class; you won’t be disappointed 🙏🏻

This an amazing place to get work I’m 9 and I love this place so much you to CARDIO KICKBOXING and JIU JITSU. Jiu Jitsu is my favorite I have a grey white belt and I connected to the coaches so fast you can snap your finger so COME AND DO!!!!!!

Nova is a great place to learn Brazilian Jiujitsu. The instruction is excellent. I have been grappling for about twenty years and still learn something new with each class.There are multiple black belts that are all very skilled teachers and Marc Laimon is the head instrucror! If you do not know who that is, look him up. It is very rare to find such an accomplished competitor and coach. The culture is great, no egos, and everyone is willing to work with you, regardless of your skill level. The gym is clean, has a nice changing area with showers, and offers convienent class times. Nova also has fitness and kickboxing classes. I have not done those, but it looks like everyone is getting in a great workout. I highly recommend!

What an awesome place to come and workout and or train. If you are interested in doing a all around work out that feels much like a one on one training in a small group setting than this is worth your time. The kickboxing class is just right for you if this sounds like what you are looking for. One day you work the bags in a cardio type work out and the next you may do circuit training with different stations working different muscle groups. I love the random approach . Great group of humble and encouraging instructors. Did I mention the first class is free. Take advantage while it lasts and call today.
Very clean gym. It is nice to come in week after week to a clean gym. Great kid's classes. The kids feel accomplished and empowered after each class. The coaches take time to make sure the kids not only understand the concept being taught but the proper way to utilize it. Hands down, great gym!

I walked into this place and was amazed. It's the perfect combination of hardcore gym and high energy motivational atmosphere. While all the passion is there for kickboxing and Brazilian jiujitsu, it is not a dingy ground and pound gym - It's a modern gym with great equipment and mats. I come from a judo, and a ground and pound background, and am extremely pleased to have found a BJJ gym that teaches highly effective techniques. I am learning more than I thought possible. The coaches and instructors are friendly, helpful and patient, and give me all the feedback I need to excel.

Love it! I've been attending the newly added Yoga class at Nova. It's only my 3rd week, and it's making a huge improvement for my overall health. Nova came highly recommend and the yoga was a good value ($50 for 10 weeks). So, I decided to give it a shot. The instructor is great, she listens to the goals of each student and adjusts her class to be the most beneficial. I am recovering from an injury, and the class has greatly sped up my healing process. An added bonus for me, has been the atmosphere. Nova is open and family friendly. I'm looking forward to bringing my daughter to try classes in the future!

Great place.. I needed cardio in my life and I am not a fan of treadmills. Heck I hate running!! Nova fits perfect with my training. The cardio kickboxing and octagon fitness class helps me reach my cardio goals. On top of that the price is low compared to other gyms.. It's nice to have a gym where the entire family can workout together.

I attended this gym when I lived in Wisconsin. It is great, especially the family atmosphere. I never felt judged or made to feel uncomfortable. All the trainers were approachable and knowledgeable. I fell many times or had a hard time keeping up, but was always encouraged by the team both staff and classmates. A fun place, where you will sweat. Is there a bubbler yet? Lol
Nova is the best gym I've ever been too. It is a place that I feel motivated, confident, and great. I always look forward to the gym and it makes my day a lot better. Everyone in the gym are nice, funny, and always motivate you to keep going they don't give up on you and I enjoy that. I'd say Nova is probably my favorite part of my day!

Nova is awesome!! I checked out other similar gyms before signing up, but they just felt too intimidating. I didn't feel that way when I stopped in for my free first class at Nova. My favorite part about Nova is that I constantly feel motivated to be and do better, but I never feel embarrassed if I need a quick break. Christian is an awesome trainer. He knows how to help anyone at any level get better, and feel good about doing so. I have a shoulder injury and he always knows how to personalize what I'm doing to accommodate for that. It is really a great place all around! I love it!
I can't say enough good things about Nova...joining this gym has really changed my life for the better. I love the kickboxing classes and what they've done for my health and fitness. Christian is a fantastic coach and is always there to help with whatever I need. I was a little nervous and intimidated when I first started and he made me feel comfortable from day one. Very comfortable and relaxed environment, the team makes you feel welcomed. The BJJ at this gym is top notch with multiple coaches who are masters at their own discipline. The practioners are also very friendly and welcoming. Its a newer gym so most practioners are white belts, with a sprinkle of blue belts, purple belts, and a new black belt! Gym is very clean and instructors are super friendly. And it doesn't have that macho atmosphere a lot of martial arts gyms have. Well worth the price.
The coach is very motivational and gives thorough instruction. The octagon fitness workout is fun yet challenging and leaves you feeling amazingly energized afterwards.
Had a great time training here. A great gi heavy school with friendly faces at the door. The instruction was well prepared and the class was well taught. They have some really great female blue belts there as well, and something for people of all ages! Check them out

Nova is great! Really good BJJ classes and events, especially for youths. Also really good fitness classes that will challenge but not overwhelm. But, the best thing is the atmosphere and the people. Building a fitness and martial arts community that fosters growth and development on many levels. I love Nova!!!

I trained here one night last month while in town for business. The atmosphere is welcoming and not intimidating. Chris put on a great BJJ class and really took the time to make sure we understood the techniques he was presenting. I am new to the sport and he was able to work with me on my level, and was also able to work on a higher level to meet the needs of the more advanced students. Thanks Chris and Nova Gyms, I will definitely be back next time I am in town!
Great gym with several class times, awesome staff and a great environment. The classes vary in difficulty and timing so I can pick and choose what works best for me. Trainers make sure you get a great work out and learn a lot, while still keeping it safe for everyone involved.
At 36, I had no hope to get fit through martial arts. But it was the approach of Jeff that gave the confidence to stick on while keeping his bootcamp style. Rob for BJJ is also very kind for a beginner like me. Overall great experience to workout with all ages. Thanks for everything!!!

I started here almost two years ago It's been a great time! I've taken my health back and found a great passion in jujitsu that I plan to do for as long as I live! Good and safe training part are in good supply here.
This is a great place with some amazing trainers!! Kickboxing classes are very effective. Trainers are always around to help you with the posture and push you a little further, Its almost like having a personal trainer. Its just been a month I've started and I already see changes in me with respect to strength, toning and weight loss. It is very well maintained and the music is awesome...

Love this place. It is a family orientated environment. While my son does something he loves and enjoys kids bjj I get my work out at the same time. The trainers are great, they challange you and motivate you. Everyone treats each other like family. If you want a fun, hard, challenging work out this is the place.

I joined Nova Gyms several months ago. My first kickboxing class was difficult. With the assistance of Robert and Christopher, now I am able to keep up and my kicks are stronger. I also take the functional fitness classes - my core strength and balance have improved - overall it has been a good experience.
It is great when classes are scheduled and given. Last minute cancellations and no contact from staff make the information learned for my son marred. Many days wasted gearing up to practice then to find out we wasted our day. Very unprofessional.
I reached out to this gym multiple times to try and get some information. No one has returned my calls, and the gym is not open during the hours listed on Google. Do not waste your time.
