I've been training here since early June.... I was in horrible shape when I started.... I'm doing so much better now.... I'm 49yrs old and I feel better now than I did 10yrs ago.... Sensi Tom has been a great teacher.....
been going here for two years now and i gotta say its been fun Sensei Tom works well with the students and even provides 1 on 1 during class if you’re having trouble this is not a mcdojo or bullshito like internet warriors like to say this is the realist your gonna get for traditional karate and the style they teach Shorei Ryu and that is the grandfather of Kyokyshin and Shotokan they also do kickboxing on tuesdays and wednesdays if you bring you’re kids here they will enjoy it not only will they develop self confidence but also being physically able to defend themselves against a potential bully at school dont listen to the naysayers and come see for yourselves you wont regret it
I am learning karate at Championship Martial Arts Oak Creek. I am happy with the way the arts been taught. Coach Sensei Tom is so humble and good with the teaching techniques, and answers the questions. He also teaches Kick boxing. I definitely recommend for anyone to join with this school. Sensei Tom has been wonderful. I take my autistic son in for one on one lessons and Tom is so patient with him. My son loves going to his weekly Karate lessons. It makes my mama heart so happy to see my kiddo interacting and taking instruction so well.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied. My 6-year-old son has been attending for almost 3 months now and I feel he’s progressing well. Of all the extracurricular activities (gymnastics, swimming, etc.), he seems to enjoy this one the most. Sensi Tom has a great rapport with all the kids. I honestly didn’t know much about the different martial art disciplines (Karate, Taekwondo, Aikido, etc.) but in retrospect I feel like Karate was the right one for us. And they don’t just teach martial art skills, they’ll sit down with the kids and discuss monthly themes like focus, effort, and responsibility and how the kids can demonstrate those attributes both inside the dojo and at home. Occasionally they’ll host parties at the sister location in Racine which my son got his first opportunity to break a board! Yes, there does tend to be a greater time commitment which can certainly cause some hesitation (perhaps ~2 days/week as compared to just 1 with some other activities (excluding dance)), but for our program there was an option almost every day of the week so we could find the days that worked best with our schedule. In my experience the cost is slightly above the other activities we’ve been involved in (excluding dance again) but understand you’re getting more equipment than a simple swimsuit or leotard.
Our son has been at Championship Martial Arts for a few months now and it has been great! Sensei Tom explained everything at sign up, checks in regularly, and has been such a great experience! From the start of class to the finish, everything is so positive and not only are the kids learning karate, they are also learning confidence, self discipline, respect, and much more! In the short time we’ve been a part of Championship Martial Arts, we’ve seen our son grow in many ways and he looks forward to going each week! Highly recommend to everyone and can’t wait for our youngest to be of age to join!
My daughter Loves Oak Creek Championship Martial Arts! Great people, always willing to help and meet your individual needs. If you’re interested in your child learning to protect themself, trust me it don’t stop there. I was blown away when I seen they also teach them good morals, manners, discipline, and respect. End of most sessions end with positive quotes or talks and thanks to the parents. Watching my daughter’s confidence grow has been worth every penny!
Championship Martial Arts is great. Sensei Tom is great with the kids. My daughter is a student there for almost 4 years. My daughter lives going to karate and it has brought her confidence up so much.
They’ve been very helpful, accommodating and friendly. The sign up was easy, and we got all his uniform/supplies the very first day. Sensei Tom has made a big difference in my sons confidence and I’m glad we signed up when we did

My son has been part of this karate school for only a short time. But within that time he has learned and benefited from so much. Socially, physically and also emotionally. The Owner/teacher provides a safe and fun learning environment each and every class. He is big on teaching responsibility, respect for not only for yourself but for others and helps boosts each students confidence whether it’s in karate or everyday life achievements. The owner is always available for feedback, questions or concerns and always handles them in a professional and empathetic manner any time of day. I highly recommend this karate school for your children.

My youngest goes there right now and all I can say is they have amazing characteristics, discipline, artwork, and finesse! They are so time punctual and are amazing with kids. They always take care of my son, and he’s learned so much as have my other kids in the years before. Highly recommended

Sensei Tom is awesome and great with the kids. His programs teach kids discipline, respect, and self confidence. The classes are structured to keep the kids entertained while learning some valuable life skills. Our 5 year old was struggling with listening and throwing tantrums. After a few weeks of attending classes with Sensei Tom he became a better listener and better at expressing his feelings. Most importantly he loves going to karate class and is always asking when his next class is! We highly recommend Sensei Tom and Championship Martial Arts of Oak Creek!

Our daughter started Karate in December. She comes home from class and is excited to share with the family and demonstrate what she learned. She heard they offered kick boxing also from a friend she made in Karate and wanted to try that too. Classes are flexible and our daughter is still able to do her school activities. She has made new friends, enjoys the work out, and we can see her confidence growing.
We've truly enjoyed having our son go here!! The Sensei are great with the kids and I love that the older kids work with the younger classes as well. I'm so happy with our experiences and love love love the growth and enthusiasm from our son.
Since attending this program my child has experienced so much growth and development mentally and physically! Sensei Tom is patient and on point with all the students and parents alike and teaches in ways the youth seem to pick and get the techniques that stick! This was a great investment our family made this year that we look forward to every Monday Thursday night with everyone in the class!

Our family joined Championship Martial Arts 4 years ago and have been so happy with our decision. My kids enjoy karate. My eldest has already earned his black belt and my youngest is working hard to get there too. The staff do an amazing job with the kids, not just teaching karate but also life lessons through the word of month and mat talks. I had never thought karate would have become such a large part of our lives, but now, I can't imagine not participating in the program. I would recommend Championship Martial Arts to anyone looking for a fun, challenging and active activity for their family.

My son wanted nothing to do with karate when we first suggested signing him up with a martial arts school, but once at the evaluation, he was sold. He looks forward to all his karate classes, especially with Sensei Tom. I’m really happy he has a place in addition to school to stay active and build his self-confidence, as well as meet other kids. My son loves his karate school!

I've loved watching her grow & advance in her martial arts journey, with the help from a number of excellent Sensei's & coaches throughout the years. All of the staff at CMA -Oak Creek are helpful not only to just the student, but they've always been very responsive to any questions or concerns on my end, as a parent. I think that my daughter is developing some extremely important life skills & I'm thankful that we got her involved in karate so many years ago. I encourage anyone who's on the fence about checking the school out, to give it a try!

Great atmosphere! Safe and healthy learning environment for kids of all ages to learn Karate at any level (beginner/advanced). Parents have the option to watch classes live and the instructors keep daily communication on which kids are attending class daily. My son has come a long ways and I can see his confidence has grown!

We have had the best experience. All Sensei are great, we absolutely love Sensei Tom and Sensei Philip. They take time to listen to your concerns and give you feedback on how your kid is doing. My son started when he was four years old, and one year later you can see not only improvement in techniques but in self confidence as well. We cannot recommend this place enough. We just signed up for our second year.
Such a great experience! We have loved our first few months with Championship Martial Arts. The staff is fabulous and the skills and confidence my kids (4 and 6 yo boys) are getting out of it is invaluable!

Just started but my son already loves it. Class size seems manageable. I appreciate that they take time to teach technique, discuss healthy eating and exercise, and discuss good behavior in a non-judgmental way.
My son has been going to championship martial arts for all most a year. My son in in the little dragons/little ninja program. Sensi Dave is great. They take time to work with my son. As parents it’s nice that we get to help with the drills. I'm so glad that we found this place. My sons focus and confidence has gone up so much.
My son has been taking classes here for 9 months now. He enjoys it so much. We have seen him grow so much, not only in his karate, but in his focus, discipline, respect and integrity. Sensei Dave does a great job motivating the kids, and goes above and beyond with special events. If he could, my son would go to class every day, as well as on Saturday's, not to mention, watch all the classes that he's not even a part of.

We've been bringing our daughter to the classes here for almost a year and she really enjoys the class, the friends she's made and the many accomplishments that she has earned while having fun and participating in class. The instructors are helpful and they work with the kids as a whole and one on one. They help set goals for their students as well as helping to instill valuable characteristics, discipline and moral values. We are very pleased with this establishment and the instructors that make this class an enjoyable and fun experience.
Horrible place. My kids didn’t like the program after one week being there and we kindly asked for a cancellation and a refund of what we paid as a down payment and the owner denied and said there is nothing i can do about it. Very unprofessional.
DO NOT and I cannot stress this enough, enroll your kids in this place. I paid almost 800$ down payment for two kids and due to health issues after a week the kids could not attend anymore. I asked kindly for a refund and he told me I’m canceling your membership but I will not refund you. Communication was rude and horrible.
Parents, please be aware. After attending a stranger danger class, I decided to sign my daughter up for classes. While attending the stranger danger class, there was no mention of of their policies regarding refunds or canceling, other than if we weren't satisfied, we could return the equipment provided there was no wear and tear and receive a refund. Well not I am being told something completely different. I never would've signed my child up for classes if I didn't have the option of receiving a refund for services not used. I was charged on August 28th for September classes, which we will not use and they have been notified but are still saying they cannot issue a refund, which was not discussed/disclosed. I am currently initiating a dispute with my bank and contacting the BBB. This company should be more forthcoming with their policies during sign up instead of trying to meet a quota!
We took our four year old son for evaluation. First class he was okay but second class he was really playful. Then the sensei threw him out of the class and said he would call us for class options. My husband kept reaching out but they came up with lame excuses, so we stopped enquiring about them and started sending our kid else where. With in one class they were able to evaluate and differentiate my child and we really felt violated. I would like to ensure that not all 4 year olds have listening ears. If you want only kids who listen and does not have the patience to work with other, then please post the note, so parents like us would not waste time or try to wonder what happened for such worst behavior from the Sensei. I would like to give zero stars, but unfortunately can't.
Yesterday I talked with Allen and he guaranteed me a price. Then today the price was more than we discussed and he acted as though I didn't understand our conversation. He said it right in front of my kids and now they are hurt because they can't go. Not fair.
