  We've had a wonderful experience at AMA over the past year. My son really enjoys the classes, which are kept at a manageable size so he always gets quality instruction. The instructors are kind, encouraging, and highly professional. It's clear how much he has learned—not just the forms and techniques, but also discipline and focus. We appreciate that AMA provides a clear path for advancement; he is regularly given opportunities to move up belts. The BBC program is a great next step toward his Black Belt goal.

  We absolutely love this karate school! My son is always excited to go, and it makes me so happy to see how much he’s learned already. His confidence has grown, and he genuinely enjoys every class. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and great with kids. Highly recommend!

  Our child has been attending Ascension Martial Arts since spring 2023 and absolutely loves it! The instructors are caring, patient, and lead by example — creating a supportive and respectful environment for every student. We especially appreciate how neurodivergent-friendly the program is; the team truly understands how to meet kids where they are and help them thrive. We’ve seen so much growth in confidence, focus, and joy. Highly recommend!

  I take Taekwondo, Jiu Jitsu, and Sparring classes. This place is amazing and very welcoming! I have been going here for a few years and have met so many friends. As an adult, it can sometimes be hard to make new friends who have share the same interests. The vibe in class is the best; like we motivate eachother to keep going but at the same time can be real with eachother sharing our struggles. As a woman, its hard to find a place that we feel safe enough to be aggressive yet vulnerable....if that makes sense. :) Myself and and my kids train here so I definitely recommend!

  My family has been attending AMA for a few years now and it has been nothing short of a fantastic experience. My daughter started in the Little Dragons class and is now in Dragons and she has learned so much and come so far. The staff here is amazing and has created a wonderful community. We also had my daughter's birthday party here and it was a blast! I would book with them again in a heartbeat.
