  I’ve been training here for a few years and both my kids started this past year. Danny and Angela have done an excellent job creating an atmosphere where everyone feels both welcome and challenged, and where students at all levels are invested in each others’ success. I leave every class exhausted and happy. They are especially great with the kids, and teach in a way that keeps the kids playful and engaged. Highly recommend.

  My daughter joined the North Shore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy when she was 6 years old, and she just turned 10. From day one, Danni and Angela have made the experience both fun and rigorous. They possess a remarkable ability to balance teaching with structure and education, ensuring that the kids not only have a great time but also learn effectively. It's an awesome place with awesome teachers.

  We love North Shore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! Danny and Angela are truly phenomenal with kids. Each session is the perfect mix of fun, discipline, and development. We've watched our son's confidence grow tremendously both on and off the mat--he's become a little leader in his classroom. Danny takes great care to make each kid feel special--giving them nicknames, taking the extra time one-on-one to make sure they really understand a move or sequence, and compliments the kids in front of their peers--never a hand out, he genuinely means it when it's earned, which has given our son a real sense of pride and determination in himself and the sport. Angela's warmth and kind-heartedness is a bright light on the mat. It's obvious how much she cares about the kids and how much they gravitate toward her energy. Her encouragement each week has played a big role in our son's continued love of Jiu-Jitsu. We can't say enough about how much we respect and admire this duo! We're so lucky our son has the opportunity to learn from Danny and Angela! Highly, highly recommended!

  Once my son turned 5, I was able to put I'm right in - he's been attending for about a month now and he absolutely loves, enjoys and looks forward to it. Thank you Angela and Danny for being so welcoming and helping me with any concerns I have regarding my child.

  We love NSBJJ. My son and I have been training here for 2 years. The atmosphere is great, very encouraging. We can't imagine training anywhere else. Both Danny and Angela are excellent teachers and mentors. Update: Five years training there and it's still the best jiujitsu school on the North Shore, hands down! A++.
