Been with Ty for over 6.5 years now. Ty is the real deal. A master in the Arts. If you really want to learn great self defense from standing to clinching to takedowns and submissions on the ground then this might be a good fit for you. Ty's deep knowledge and experience goes into his personalized teaching and it feels like you are getting an invaluable private lesson from him every time.

Awesome group and excellent instructor! Ty cares about each class member, provides great instruction, and everyone works together to learn and improve.
Really great instructors and great learning environment. Coach Tye has more experience in the grappling business than anybody in Utah and is very invested in his students. You will succeed at this place.
Ty knows his stuff and classes are super fun

I have been training with Sensei Ty Hatfield for over 10 years, and I recommend him because he is an excellent teacher and the best coach I could ask for. I received my 4th Dan in Hapkido under him along with other masters and a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu, soon to be a black belt in Judo. Ty is someone you can trust and he have trained with many other honored masters as well grandmasters and he have traveled to places learning from other traditional arts and trainings.
