Good guys, very knowledgeable and friendly for beginners and experts alike. I had to cancel my membership due to personal issues and there was a brief miscommunication with the billing. They were very responsive and quick to rectify the error. Looking forward to when I can train with them again.

Great gym. We train hard and have fun. Coaches are uplifting, knowledgeable, and care about helping you reach your goals. If you want to compete in MMA or jiujitsu, they know what they are doing! They take women fighters seriously and are a safe place to train. The mats are like clouds. Their mma fight team is a solid program with amateurs & pros who fight consistently.

If you know nothing about mma or Jiu jitsu or basic self defense and want to learn this is the place to start. I was so nervous when i went to my first class here and everyone was so patient and inviting. They have a strong women’s program here which i love! I’m not always the best at consistently attending and i appreciate that they always just welcome me with open arms when i do attend! This gym is amazing because it has turned into more than a gym, it’s a supportive community!

Reasonable prices and an awesome environment, very beginner friendly. The people and coaches there will go through moves with you step by step until you get them. The people are kind and produce a good environment. Worth every penny.

Literally the best gym in Utah (probably the west coast). Coaches and teammates are so helpful and willing to go the extra mile for beginners but also so experienced that advanced students are going to walk away with a great experience too. I cannot recommend this place strongly enough!

Agema is, hands down, the best gym in Utah Valley. I started training here about 9 months ago after spending 6 years at another school. I do not regret the decision to switch at all. I am really happy with the training I get and the people I get to roll with. Dayne, Court, Art, and Kalei are all amazing black belts and give great, personalized instruction. Whatever your goal is--self-defense, MMA, BJJ competition, or just having a good time while getting fit--this is the place you want to be.

This has been an amazing gym. The practices are well thought out and organized and you can be sure that you are being coached by some of the best coaches in Utah. Dayne and Court are both amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. If you are an active fighter looking for different body types this is a great gym as well. There's frequent controlled sparring sessions and a lot of Utah's ammy champions and Pro fighters train or cross train there. It's been amazing for me to get different feels with different levels of fighters in my time here and I'm looking forward to see how far I can go under this gym.

Agema MMA is as badass as it gets!! Amazing coaches, sooo welcoming for everyone!!! I first saw this gym walking around Provo mall and there was a KIDS CLASS going on. They answered every question I had and welcomed my 5 year old son with open arms. They just recently started a striking class for them as well! I couldn’t have asked for a better gym for him.

Dropped in here while driving through Provo, no gi beginner class was learning heel hooks, and the wrestling class after was the real deal. These folks are not messing around! Had some fun rolls and mat time. Good to see such a broad approach to grappling under one roof.

The best jiu-jitsu and mma instruction around. Coaches are beyond knowledgeable and sincere. Most of all, I have enjoyed training here because of the highest level of jiu-jitsu knowledge available in the area. The instructors have created a safe environment to train, in a deadly sport! I've trained jiu-jitsu all around the world and am a black belt. Agema is world class jiu-jitsu! Go! You won't regret it!

I decided to drop into one of their 11 am classes while in UT on vacation with my wife. Professor Bernardo was teaching and running the class. Right from the get-go the people there treated me like family and were very welcoming. Prof Bernardo was an excellent teacher and did a very good job of explaining the techniques. I was pleasantly surprised to learn a judo throw, and to get some drilling time in. Professor Bernardo treated me like one of his regular students and watched me to help me get my technique correct. We finished off class with some rolls which was a very enjoyable experience. If I could give this gym 10/5 stars I would. It will definitely be my go to place when I’m in Orem, and if you live here I would highly recommend you check it out. Thanks for treating me like family! You guys rock!

Been to a few gyms in the area and this one is BY FAR the best. Gym owners are super nice and down to earth but could also murder you (because they are extremely competent at what they do). Also blows my mind that coming here exposes you to actual UFC fighters (like Court McGee, Ultimate fighter winner). Anyways I am constantly recommending this gym to anyone with a desire to learn how to defend themselves

This is hands down the best jiu jitsu studio in Utah. I’ve only been coming here for a little over 2 months now, but I’m already much more confident in my jiu jitsu. All of the instructors here are amazing and will 100% help you to improve. It feels like an incredible opportunity to receive instruction here. With every class I’ve gone to so far, I’ve learned something new, or I’ve gotten much better at something I already knew, and that’s entirely because of the instructors, they’re all absolutely next level. The members here are great as well, nearly all of them are helpful with showing me their moves and helping me get better. The kickboxing classes are also superb. I’ve never been good at striking, but taking classes here has helped me to improve and become passionate about kickboxing along with jiu jitsu. The prices are also very affordable compared to other martial arts studios. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all of my friends, here’s to hoping they sign up. If you’re thinking of getting a membership here, you will not regret it, you gotta train with the best to become the best, and I’d certainly argue that these guys are the best.

I started training at Agema about 9 months ago under Dayne and soon met his wife Amy who is just as chill an inviting. They allowed a free trial of classes and I was able to participate in beginners Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing. Coaches at all levels were accommodating and encouraging, I never felt left behind or lost because they take time to work with you one on one if needed. I was soon able to train with coach Court McGee as well! The community that they foster in their gym is amazing and definitely contagious because the other gym members were willing to talk me through the different movements and were patient and encouraging. I loved the gym so much that I decided to give my energetic kids a shot in their kids class and we’ve never looked back! Their kids classes are 4 days a week with amazing coaches who not only teach martial arts, but values that the kids can use in their daily lives. There are lots of classes with a variety of times to try and fit a lot of schedules. The gym has become a second family and they are willing to support each other at any event!

This Gym is great. They do it all and have expert's for evething they do. Bjj, Wrestling, Striking, etc. If you have ever wanted to start going to the gym but don't know where to go Agema is the place for you. The Staff is very friendly and the people you meet are very nice. If your looking for a challenge and want to get folded like clean laundry this is the place. 10/10 would recommend.

My 8 year old son has been coming for a few weeks and has learned so much in such a short time. The coaches at the gym are amazing! They take time to talk to each kid and make sure they are learning correct form and doing the movements right. When my son first started he was rather nervous and scared but he was welcomed with open arms when he joined. He loves coming every day. This place is absolutely amazing!

Agema is full of high level, quality people and coaching. Perfect space for all levels! I feel that Agema is the safest place to be and train especially as a small woman. I have trained with Dayne, Amy, Court McGee, and the other coaches on and off for years and have continued to see them fuel a culture of genuine connection, care, and consent. These forms of exercise are deeply vulnerable and I now feel safe within myself. The techniques learned at Agema translate into the real world. The values they teach and live by are: Honesty Friendship Integrity Perseverance Self control Loyalty Courtesy Indomitable spirit. They are training the future leaders of this world. My 4 year old son has been attending Agema for about 6 months now . The coaches are all incredible! There are usually 3 to 4 coaches on the mats to help students during class. They are patient and kind, but at the same time they teach respect and discipline, among other great values. They are very knowledgeable and break techniques down in a way that is easy and fun for kids to understand. Time is spent with each student individually, during every class. One of my favorite things about Agema, aside from the fact that my son loves going to class, is that the coaches have a true desire for the kids to succeed on and off the mats. You can see a genuine excitement in them when something that they’ve taught, clicks for a student . I’ve seen amazing progress in my own son’s skill level, attitude, and confidence since starting. Do not hesitate to sign your kids up!

BEST GYM EVER: Agema is amazing. Instructor Dayne is a high level Black Belt, their MMA training is good, and they are only getting bigger and better! This place is great for anyone trying to get in shape, learn self defense, or compete at a high level. The management is great. both Amy and Dayne are amazing at running the gym. They both are some of the sweetest and most caring people I've ever met. They genuinely care about the welfare of each student. Agema has such a good culture. That is not normal for many martial arts schools, but I've been super impressed. I can't wait to take my daughter to their children's jiu jitsu class when she's older. DO NOT HESITATE TO SIGN UP!!!

Best Jiu Jitsu & MMA gym in the world. Dayne is not only a WORLD CLASS Instructor, but the gym is well managed by Amy and the community there is 2nd to none. I love it there and I am forever grateful to Dayne and Amy for changing my life. Whether you are looking for a gym to help you be a combat athlete, trying to get in shape, learn a new skill, or learn self-defense, Agema Jiu Jitsu is the place to be. They really could be charging Double for the services they provide (I know this because they do in San Diego and other parts of the country) but they have great prices, better Instruction, and the best environment of any MMA/BJJ school in Utah. Dayne is a black Belt Under Pedro Sauer, a living legend of Jiu Jitsu, but is also a very forward thinking, practical martial artist who is always learning the latest and greatest in Jiu Jitsu, MMA, & Self Defense. One of the best things I love about the gym is how humble and kind Dayne is. Many martial art schools have Instructors who boast 100x as much as Dayne, but have done 1000x less. Dayne is a real martial artist and teaches his students from a place of kindness.

I’ve loved rolling here and training here! Everyone is super nice and helpful and the mats are clean (which is a big thing for me now a days). It’s a good gym and super great environment

I would highly recommend Agema Jiu Jitsu. It is a high quality MMA gym with respectable and knowledgeable practitioners. The monthly price is very reasonable for such a wide range of professional classes. Agema’s gym culture is contagiously positive and newcomer friendly. You can expect that Agema will offer an awesome all round experience for any martial arts practitioner.

I'm from a different school near by and did a drop in and participated a little. Something I might continue to do every now and again when I don't have class at my own school, because the students and Instructor(Dayne) were very inviting, welcoming and informative and I witnessed top-notch instruction. Thanks guys!!!

My 8 year old and 5 year old daughters have been attending for a year. The coaches and owners are excellent. They are aware of each student's needs and helps them feel accomplished. We went to trials of various martial arts gyms. Others were either not kid friendly or were too militant. My daughters have never been able to stick to one thing for this long. We are so happy we found this place.

Agema is an exemplary place to learn and train Martial Arts. The atmosphere is perfect and welcoming. From kids to adults this is the place to go. There are a number of professional fighters and instructors there more than willing to help. I’ve known Dayne since I was a kid , I’ve trained all over Utah my whole life ... Dayne is one in a million he is a absolute BJJ MASTER MIND and is the most down to earth instructor you’ll ever have. If you are down in Utah county the only place to train at is Agema , Dayne and Amy are seriously the best ! You won’t regret it

Gotta love the environment in this place. The people, the classes, the everything here is just amazing. It's truly incredible to see how since day one everyone just takes you in, helps you improve and learn, and treats you like a member of a family. And that's what Agema is, one big, strong, badass family. So, in short, if you're looking for the best Jiu-jitsu/MMA gym in the area, this is it.

Dayne is an extremely gifted teacher and provides an outstanding jiu jitsu training experience for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. The facility is well suited for large class sizes and the other students are friendly and supportive. Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their fighting abilities!!

I went in to acquire a year long membership, & there was no one at the front desk to attend me. It was packed yet not enough staff to keep it profesional. It seemed like the person who works at the front desk was training also perhaps that’s why there was no one there to help any customers. Completely disappointed for wasting my time looking for this place & driving there.
