    I currently live out of town, but every time I am in Monroe I train at MJJA. John is not only an exceptional teacher, but genuinely a good person. He’s a great teacher, training partner, and friend. He fosters an environment of humility, fun, and creativity to be yourself on the mats.

    If you live in the Monroe,NC area, this is the spot for you. Jon Helton is an exceptional gi and no-gi practitioner, competitor, and teacher. I'm jealous of anyone who gets to train here full-time.
