Me and my kids love coming here. Great place to learn jiu jitsu and instructors are great. They did move to a new location but Google Maps may take some time to update. Same great energy but are located inside Ballantyne Kicks.
I dropped in as a visitor, and it was an awesome experience! The instructors and fellow students were welcoming and supportive. I had a blast rolling and learning some great techniques. The facility was clean and well-equipped. If you're in town and looking for a good gym, this is the place to drop in for a great training session. Can't wait to visit again!
My sons love going to Mindset to train, have fun, and learn really important life lessons. It is a great atmosphere and the kids have great attitudes!
My husband and I have trained with professor Marlon for many years. He is a great teacher for people of all ages. He is a world champion and continues to refine his skills to help his students be their best and achieve their goals.
Awesome vibes and incredible and caring professionals! Simply the best!!!
Great sport and great instructors who provide kids with the correct overall life approach.
My son has been training with Master Alyssa and Prof Marlon since 2nd Grade. Their passion for teaching and ability to work so well and motivate kids has kept us coming back for 5 years now, and counting. We are loving the new dojo! It is clean, welcoming, and the parents area is very helpful. Highly recommend!
My son has been a student under Master Alyssa and Professor Marlon for over a year and has learned so much. He is challenged to grow physically but also mentally and emotionally… skills that help in all areas of life. I’m grateful for another positive, encouraging and challenging voice in my son’s life. No matter your age or experience, this is a great studio with caring and patient instructors.
Caring and enthusiastic teachers. They are clearly passionate about teaching in a way that makes martial arts accessible to everyone. They are patient, accommodating, and instill my kids with new confidence every week!
New Dojo! Clean mats. Amazing intructors. the trainings are very informative, tough rolls all the time!
My son has been working with Master Alyssa since Kindergarten and Professor Marlon for years now. He is now in 6th grade and still at it! They have a special gift in working with children. They teach the techniques of BJJ, along with discipline and mindset. They build the kids up to be confident, respectful and strong, all while having fun. The new dojo is awesome! Everything is brand new and super clean. I appreciate the nice area for parents to relax and watch the kids do their thing. Highly reccomend!
Professor Marlon has patience with the kids, takes his time to really explain, and takes great care to guide his beginner students through the safe and proper ways of executing BJJ moves. Master Alyssa has been our daughters teacher and mentor for 11 years and counting. We are so fortunate to have her as such a major influence in our daughters life. Since these 2 martial arts professionals joined forces, they have created a powerful, dynamic, and inclusive program for all levels , ages, and abilities.
