Miloki Flow Jiu Jitsu Philly

We have really enjoyed Miloki Flow. My twins are 7 and have a lot of energy to burn. They have learned discipline, Jiu Jitsu technique and have had fun and made friends along the way. The teachers are well versed in kids and know how to bring out the best in them.

My daughter has been training at this gym for about 8 years. She loves the coaches and has learned valuable life skills. I would definitely recommend Miloki Flow for your Jiu Jitsu training needs.

Excellent in multiple categories for why I have been enrolled here for over 12 years (a name change with new location but same instructors explains the time confusion). 1. Welcoming environment for all 2. Kindness and acceptance 3. Enthusiasm to TEACH jiu jitsu which is passed on from the instructors, to advanced students, to new students. 4. Safety concerns at all times is a priority 5. And most importantly, you learn TECHNIQUES, jiu jitsu.

I dropped in for a class and they greeted me like I was an old friend. I visit a lot of academies so I feel uniquely qualified to say that the facilities are first class in terms of cleanliness and accoutrements. The instruction was great and very true to the tradition of Gracie jiu jitsu while adding in fun new training methodologies. The culture is fun, friendly, polite and professional. The kids program looked like a blast too! All around an excellent place to train. I would recommend this academy for anyone looking to get into Jiu jitsu.

As a complete beginner I was little nervous about joining but I’m incredibly glad that I did. They offer a free two week trial so I figured there is nothing to lose by checking it out. The basic flow classes are beginner friendly and I have found that the more experienced members in these classes are always willing to help and encourage the newer members like myself. Alberto has his black belt under Rorion Gracie, son of Helio Gracie, which really makes it special to train here at Miloki Flow under him and his staff. He is very welcoming, friendly, and humble for someone of his caliber. The other instructors I have met (John, Mike and Dave) are also top notch teachers and extremely knowledgeable and experienced in Gracie Jiu Jitsu. If you are on the fence about trying it like I was, I highly recommend you stop thinking about it and give it a shot.
