This is a great school. I learned a lot training here. Awesome community, everyone is kind and courteous. Eamon really knows his stuff.
I trained here for a couple weeks while I was in a life transition. 127 was a top notch place to train. Good experience range of training partners, high level technique, and ample mat space. The owner is kind and welcoming. I look forward to returning in the future.
Check this place out! I dropped in for a class while on a business trip. Very friendly, great instruction, and hard training. Also.. If you’re lucky, you may catch some good jokes from Eamon. Thanks again guys!
Great gym. Dropping in for the weekend and Coach Eemon and the rest of 127 were welcoming and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this gym.
This is a great school. Apart from everyone being super friendly and welcoming, the instructors have a vast amount of knowledge. Even as someone with a few years of BJJ experience, I really feel like I am learning a lot every class. They go into great detail about every move and position which is great. Highly recommended.
127 is a great school. The instructors are very knowledgeable, the facility is clean, and the people here care about seeing you grow and improve. I highly recommend 127 BJJ to anyone looking to start or continue training Jiu Jitsu.
Great instruction and a very fair price. Highly recommend!
At this school you will find: excellent attention to detail, a training regimen that is personalized rather than one-size-fits-all, and a group of training partners who seek to elevate themselves and those around them each and every day.
Took my first Jiu-Jitsu class at 127 Bjj and have been training here ever since. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. They'll always take the time to walk you through complicated techniques. Also all the students there are friendly and great to train with. Highly recommend 127 Bjj for anyone interested in Jiu-Jitsu or for those looking to continue to improve their skills.
Dedicated staff, and a great group of people. Couldn't be happier to have started my jiu jistu journey here.
Great school and environment knowledgeable coaches
Awesome instructors, clean facility, and a great learning environment.
127 is home to great instruction and great people. If you're looking to learn to defend yourself, learn the sport, or both, 127 is where you should be. Our tight knit school is a home away from home full of folks looking to grow and help raise everyone else up in the process.
Great school with an awesome instructor and a great group of students. It doesn't matter if you've been training for years, or have never trained a day in your life. They will work with you closely to make sure you feel comfortable in your training.
Outstanding school, instructors and other students are always helpful and friendly. Great place to train for fun and for competition.
I just recently started at this place and having had experience in different martial arts styles and schools, I can say this place is great. Eamon is extremely helpful and has seemingly limitless knowledge about jiu jitsu. There's also a healthy mix among the students between beginners, intermediates, and advanced, so you get to roll with people of different skill levels and see where you're strong and where you need to improve. Plus, everyone in the class has a great sense of humor to boot. Very glad I came here to train.
Awesome place, great instructors and great students. The thing I appreciate the most is everyone, teacher and students, just care about making you better. You will be tired, and possibly in pain, but you will have fun.
AWESOME SCHOOL!! Before living in Philly I've trained at Relson Gracie and BJ Penns gym in Hawaii. While I lived in Philly I trained at 127 BJJ. Eamon is a Gracie black belt but would roll with every student in the gym on a daily basis. I've never gotten such good one on one training with a black belt at any BJJ gym in my life. At 127BJJ it was also a regular occurrence for Eamon to bring in 5 time World Champion Samuel Braga and World Champion Vicente Jr., among others. Most importantly, the guys there are great. There is a great team atmosphere, all skill levels are welcome and no one is looking to rip your face off. You can't find a better school in Philly.
Good coach, good partners and good training. Everyone's welcomed with open arms and made to feel like one of the group after the first day.
127 is a great school with an instructor in Eamon Knittle who's a walking encyclopedia of both old school and modern Jiu Jitsu knowledge. In my time here i've not only been shown excellent technique on a daily basis, but also seminars, both paid and free, from world champions of the Jiu Jitsu world, boxing instructors and D 1 wrestlers. Eamon Knittle will go above and beyond for his students and their progression.
Eamon is a detailed instructor dedicated to helping his students develop their jujitsu skills, both for competition and personal development.
