We provide exceptional instruction in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai in the Sioux Falls, SD area. Whether you're brand new or seasoned in either or both disciplines, we want to work with you to elevate your skills. We offer classes for children that are 8-15 years old for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai classes for ages 16 and up.
I have been going to this gym for a little more than a year. Whether it’s BJJ or Muay Thai, the instruction is top-notch but never intimidating — they create an environment where beginners feel comfortable and experienced practitioners can still push themselves. The vibe is light and positive, and everyone is respectful and supportive. Highly recommend for anyone looking to train, get fitter, or just be part of a great community!

Midwest martial arts is a top tier gym with a great culture and full of good people. Everyone is very welcoming, the Jiu Jitsu and Muy Thai are legit, and the main instructor is a really good dude. If you are new to martial arts or just passing through, definitely stop in for a roll

When my kickboxing gym closed 6 months ago it was surprisingly difficult to find something similar in Sioux Falls. A random FB ad brought me to MMAA. While not exactly kickboxing, more kickboxing adjacent - Muay Thai has become my new favorite thing! The coaches are thankfully very patient with beginners. The new gym on 57th and Marion is so spacious! It's always intimidating to start something new and different - and I've got a long way to go to know what I'm doing - but so glad I found this place! It's not a big box gym where you're a nameless face. Its family run and oriented which really adds to the atmosphere! Come check it out, it's a lot of fun!

I stopped in to the gym while visiting family in South Dakota and was pleasantly surprised! The head instructor is a very down to earth individual with a wealth of knowledge. The gym itself is very clean and the community is very friendly and welcoming. I will gladly return to this location in the future.
Had a really great time and really apprecithe way they train. Finally got to visit this place a couple weeks ago. Been so long since I've trained at a place that teaches real Muay Thai. We're lucky to at least have one in South Dakota.

Coming in with absolutely zero martial arts experience, I was greeted with a welcoming and fun environment. Every lesson is broken down step-by-step which makes it a lot easier to follow. Great people, great instructor, and great times. Highly recommend!!

Was super new when I started, with zero wrestling, zero Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and a little bit of kickboxing but a true blue beginner. I felt immediately welcomed by the staff and the people inside the gym. One of the best atmospheres you can find, dedicated coaching from the coach, with focus on group work and individual help. The environment is super conducive for whatever you're trying to gain out of it, be that exercise, competition, self-defense, or even just meeting new people. Absolutely the best place I've been to, tried a couple of other different spots, and nothing compared. Customer for as long as I'm in Sioux Falls for sure, hopefully, years to come.
Had absolutely no idea what jiu jitsu was when I first walked in the gym. Everyone is so patient, friendly, and encouraging. Since joining, I’m in much better shape and have gained a hobby I love and a great community!
Class is always a great experience with everyone and a fun way to get a workout in while learning something new. If you want to meet a group of fun individuals and a passionate person to teach you something new I highly recommend this place!
Went to one of Devin's Muay Thai seminars. It was very obvious straight off the bat that he is really experienced. The seminar was great experience all around, and I ended up learning alot that I intend on incorporating.

I've trained with Devin for several years at Next Edge before he started up MMAA and I can say that he is passionate in everything that he does and wants not just to continue growing himself, but help everyone around him grow as well and it shows not just in his teaching, but in his overall support and positive attitude as well towards everyone. Tresa rocks with her amazing photos/videos of everyone as well and it's always fun to see their kids having fun at the gym with everyone too. Great, positive atmosphere. Highly recommend! 💪

Great place to learn Muay Thai. The atmosphere is very welcoming for newcomers of all levels. Coach Devin cares about proper technique and is always open to answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend!

The instructor has ample experience in both BJJ and Tai boxing. When he’s teaching he breaks it down step by step so it’s easy to understand. It is a welcoming and positive atmosphere that makes it fun to be around. Definitely worth it.
