  Exceptional instruction. Members are incredibly friendly and willing to help. There is a good mix of men/women/young/old/new/experienced members. Instructors and members make it quick and easy to get integrated particularly as an inexperienced member. Instructors are also very knowledgeable, experienced and competent. They provide good demonstration of techniques with explanations, pitfalls and the relevant rationale behind the techniques which aides in performing and remembering techniques. Classes are safe with proper attention to prevent injuries. Has been excellent for myself personally as a 40 year old man, as well as my two 15 year old boys.

  I started doing Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Combatives here with Mitch and Jennie and I love it. They are great instructors with lots of experience. They walk through moves thoroughly so that the students completely understand them. I highly recommend these classes for anyone looking to be street ready ASAP. These classes are designed to get a person ready for most street fighting moves using the Gracie style of jiujitsu. If you join you get access to awesome online material such as instructional videos by Gracie's grandsons.   The Women’s Empowerment class is amazing. The curriculum may look intimidating, but the instructors break it down in easy to learn chunks. This class is filled with supportive and fun people. We all come as we are, in whatever physical capacity, and learn. There is no judgment, only meeting women where we are currently, and support each other to learn. This speaks highly to the instructor, Jenni-Lee, as this culture is fostered by her and her husband, Mitch. At the end of the day, we all walk out knowing how to kick some butt! You won’t regret trying out or joining this amazing team.

  For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a part of something like this - not only for the benefits of self-defense but simply for fun! I heard about this program through my dad and have been attending for the last few months. In just a short time, I have gained so much knowledge about self-defense and am feeling more and more confident in my skills thanks to the awesome teaching from the instructors! The women in my class are so fun, it has been such a blast to learn alongside them. I look forward to our weekly classes because I know I will be learning useful skills, as well as being surrounded by a group of women who encourages one another to grow and develop these skills. This program has been such a blessing and I cannot wait to see what the future holds! Ladies, go get your pink belts!

  I have been training with Mitch and Jeni for almost a year now and it has been the most amazing experience! Not only did they help me get my pink belt in record time, they offered many other opportunities that help me to advance in my jiu jitsu journey! They are very down to earth and really focused on helping you achieve your goal here, whatever that may look like. I have trained with another business before but these guys are above the rest, you are getting the best of the best by coming here. I can not say enough good things. Not only is this an investment in yourself, it’s a family!

  Do You Have What It Takes To Protect Your Family? Instructors Mitch, along with his wife, Jenni-Lee are a winning combination. Together they are committed to teaching the timeless techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. In Combatives class, we practice the moves in a relaxed manner and have Fun with it. The BEST part is my husband and son, also joined. For me, Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is Extremely Therapeutic! Once Overpowered now EMPOWERED.

  They teach much more than ju jitsu. Manners, living skills, how to be caring towards others, helping others and other ways to be a decent human being. My son has already learned a lot and is more confident after only attending 10 or so classes. All the kids seem to have fun. Recommended.

  Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Sioux Falls has a great family-friendly, welcoming, and cheerful atmosphere. If this kind of thing is new to you or your child, you won't feel out of place. The program is super structured and intentionally designed to allow newcomers to join right in and the students that have been there for a while to keep improving. Mitch and Jenni-Lee are excellent instructors that are positive and encouraging. I highly recommend this program for both kids and adults!

  Gracie Jiu-Jitsu at SDG Academy with Instructors Mitch and Jenni-Lee is amazing! I have been a student in the adult class for about 14 months, and my 12yr old daughter has been a student for about a year. The attention to detail for technical application of jiu-jitsu in actual real-life situations is outstanding! Mitch and Jenni-Lee are always happy to answer questions and offer advice for perfecting the different essential techniques we learn. The atmosphere is very friendly and family oriented, and students of all age ranges, sizes, and shapes are welcome! Thank you so much!

  Gracie Jiu Jitsu Sioux Falls is amazing! Mitch and Jenni-Lee are excellent teachers. They pay attention to details and they know the curriculum outstandingly well. Mitch and Jenni-Lee have built a friendly and collaborative atmosphere where everyone works together and newcomers are always welcome. They really care about their students and what they are teaching. I learn SO MUCH from each and every Combatives class and I am having a ton of fun. I can’t recommend Gracie Jiu Jitsu Sioux Falls highly enough!

  I'm a newcomer to jiu jitsu as of August 2023. Over the past 7-8 months, I've thoroughly enjoyed the instruction here for myself and my kids. This is a great environment for learning - Gracie has a very intentional and incremental curriculum that is easy to follow, but also with helpful instruction on how to improve with each cycle. I am thankful for the excellent teachers here, and a tight knit, no ego student body. Gracie Sioux Falls is a great place to learn new skills and make friends!

  I'm a new student and it's been awesome ! We have members who are old, young, athletic, non-athletic, bigger, smaller, stronger, weaker, taller, shorter.... you get the point. They do a great job of welcoming all new members and creating a challenging yet safe & positive environment for learning Jiu Jitsu. If you are even slightly interested in Jiu Jitsu, I feel you owe it to yourself to look into Gracie Jiu Jitsu Sioux Falls !
