  The gym has such a great atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The sessions are always fun and challenging. The coaches are great, very knowledgeable and know how to get the best out of everyone, whatever your experience level. You leave a session feeling like you’ve learned something new and had a great workout at the same time. I’d definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to learn Muay Thai, get fit, or just have fun while training.

  My son has been a member of the club for several years starting at five he is now 11. The club has been nothing but great and consistent The members of staff are polite and knowledgeable throughout all training aspects regarding the club whether it’s going to different clubs to do sparing days or Touchupsmy son needs to do at home. Can’t recommend a club enough.

  My teenage son has been coming to classes for the past year with Matthews Bennett Maui Thai and has loved evey single class and always looks forward to going The classes are fun and really friendly. He didn’t know anyone when he joined but he found the club to be really welcoming and encouraging. He's really grown in skills and fitness and I've found the communications from the team to be really helpful and the club to be very professional and well run. Thank you so much!

  Great gym to train at if you're experienced or a beginner, coaches very welcoming and helpful. I attended classes for 2 weeks whilst working in the area and I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot. Good respectful sparring and great pad and drill sessions for fitness and technique.

  MBMT is first class. My boys have been attending classes twice a week for the last 2 years and love it. The knowledge, commitment, discipline and patience that Leanne, James, Kev and Mark show and expect is amazing. Strongly recommend for girls and boys alike.

  From the first day at MBMT I have felt very welcomed into the club by the coaches and other members. There is a great atmosphere! The coaches understanding of both the striking and clinching aspects of the sport are at an equally very high level and the classes are a perfect mix of technique and fitness. Whether you are a complete beginner or amore advanced practitioner this is an amazing place to either start or continue your journey in the sport of Muay Thai/K1.

  I have been training at MBMT for nearly three years now and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The coaches (James, Mark and Kev) are knowledgeable, friendly and have a clear passion for Muay Thai; the sessions are great for all ages and all fitness levels/interests in the sport. I am in the very fortunate position of being a teacher and later this year, I will be moving to Thailand to begin working at a British international school. One of the reasons I chose Thailand is because I want to learn and train more in Muay Thai in its country of origin: I cannot thank the coaches and everyone I have trained with at MBMT enough as they have fostered my interest in the sport! Everyone is made to feel welcome at MBMT and one of the biggest things I will miss is the camaraderie and hilarious moments (who will mock me for being southpaw now haha!). I would without a shadow of a doubt recommend this club to anyone looking to get into martial arts or try something new. Thank you again for an amazing three years – I hope to train with you all again in the future!

  My son started with MB Muay Thai august 2022 when he was 4. He is now 5 and his confidence and discipline levels have grown so much. Taking what he was learnt from Coach James using it in everyday life at home and at school. Muay Thai isn’t just about fighting, it’s great for social building, self discipline and keeping fit both mentally and physically.
