I visited LowTide BJJ while on holiday and am extremely glad I did. I was initially apprehensive going to a new gym by myself but received a very warm welcome and felt included throughout the class. I got to partner up with the assistant coach: Ronan who made the experience that much more enjoyable. Had lots of great rolls in the end as well. The gym is very clean and easy to find on Google Maps, would highly recommend everyone else drop by when in Edinburgh.

Great venue and excellent coaching with a really friendly group! I was visiting Edinburgh for a few days and they were kind enough to let me come along for a session.

This club has one of the most efficient teaching methods I've come across. Warm ups incorporate techniques to actively improve your game. It makes use of every moment intelligently without overdoing it. Not many gyms get this balance right. You will really reach your max potential in the shortest time. Additionally coach Simon is very patient with a keen eye for detail. The students are also great to train with. Varying ages, sizes and levels for everyone and they all provide a supportive environment. Don't miss trying this gym. Good chance it will become your next BJJ home.

Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere with knowledgeable, clear, concise, patient instruction. I stopped by for a drop-in class while visiting Edinburgh, and couldn’t have been more impressed with Coach Sutton and his students. Highly recommended if you’re in the Edinburgh area!

Just out of a session at this place as a drop in. Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Tough rolls but not in an overly aggressive way, just good sparring. I definately came away with a couple of little details I'd like to try when I get back to my own gym. Will definately be back next time I'm in Edinburgh!!!
