My daughter absolutely loves Lionheart. They have a great curriculum that prioritizes respect and confidence. I’d recommend Lionheart to anyone with kids who could use a confidence boost and who need community outside of school and home. While I do not attend classes myself, the adults who do and I’ve spoken to have only positive experiences. It really is a great place to be a part of!

Training Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu here has been an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt like family. There’s absolutely no judgment—just supportive people who genuinely want to see you grow and succeed. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, everyone roots for you. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

New here at Lionheart but I am very impressed so far. They are very welcoming and accommodating and get you set up quickly. Then it is a “jump right in” approach which I loved. The instruction is straight forward and demonstrated well. The groups so far are very respectful and helpful. Workouts are great. I plan to stay for the long haul. My child goes here too and they are wonderful with the kids! He loves it too and always wants to come back. That tells you a lot!

Lionheart has been amazing. I go 3x a week and each professor has their own teaching style, but they follow a great athlete learning style. Especially if you have a wrestling background- the drills are great. Even though I’m new I have never been hurt or injured- but I get a great workout in every time. I’m a big guy- and they help me adopt the moves and encourage others to work with people outside their size to learn.

One of the best decision we’ve made for our daughter! This gym has been incredible from day one. The coaches are patient, knowledgeable, and truly care about the kids, not just their technique, but their confidence, discipline, and growth. My daughter has learned so much in such a short time, both on and off the mats. The environment is positive and empowering, and the other families are so welcoming that it really feels like a community. We’ve seen huge improvements in her coordination, focus, and self-esteem. She looks forward to every class and is so proud to show what she’s learned. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a safe, encouraging, and fun space for kids to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!

I'm the owner's wife, but I'm also a current student at Lionheart. I started taking the women's only class in August 2024 and then began attending the beginner's classes in November 2024. I can't begin to explain how much these classes have changed my life. I have found confidence and empowerment learning jiujitsu at this academy. The women's coach (Angela) is not only incredibly knowledgeable about jiujitsu and women's self defense but she is also a very kind and supportive person. The beginner's classes are well structured and all of the coaches are helpful and supportive of each student's individual jiujitsu journey. Additionally, my son takes the kids classes and I believe he is thriving. His confidence and discipline are increasing and best of all, he's having fun!
We've been impressed with the training program here, and my son is genuinely enjoying the experience. The staff's expertise is evident, and the facility's cleanliness and friendly atmosphere make it an ideal place for him to grow.

Found this place a couple weeks ago. I have enrolled both my daughters and myself in it and it’s been great! The instructors are amazing with the kids and eveyoke has been super friendly. Can’t wait to see what awaits as they progress.
My daughter has been going here for a few weeks now and we all love it! The coaches and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and great with the kids. She has really started to show improvement and becoming more focused. I’m very excited to see how much more she will thrive at Lionheart. And it’s very affordable as well!!

My girls love it! We came from a gym that they had been at for years and loved but was now too far for us. We had tried a couple other jiujitsu gyms in the area and they hadn’t fully convinced us but once we tried Lionheart they were fully convinced they wanted to continue attending classes here. The coaches are great and my girls are now excited for their classes
As a beginner to Jiu Jitsu with no martial arts experience; all of the instructors have done an excellent job in teaching me & building my skills from the ground up, the right way. I know people who attend the more advanced classes that share my opinion for that as well. All of the students who attend the classes are helpful, friendly, & respectful. I would absolutely recommend Lionheart Jiu Jitsu to anyone considering beginning their martial arts journey or anyone more experienced wanting to sharpen their skills.

Jiu-Jitsu is something new for my kids, but they needed something that was stimulating, and physical to get some energy out. Lionheart Jiu-Jitsu exceeded my expectations! The coaches are experienced and take their time teaching every kid that's on the mat the moves. They want everyone to experience Jiu-Jitsu in a fun, safe, and responsible environment.

It was amazing and I suggest going to lionhart jiu jitsu they have really kind and amazing people there to teach whoever wants to participate in jiu jitsu and many moves and techniques that you can use in the real world ether if you go to the ground,wrestling, and self defense
This gym is great. The coaching staff are very knowledgeable. On top of this it is a very welcoming environment. The gym owners put it a lot of effort to make a great gym experience. The hygiene is also top notch and the mats are cleaned nightly. Additionally, they offer a wide array of classes at a fantastic price. Overall, fantastic gym!
Back in August, a friend invited me to join the Women's class. I had zero idea what I was doing, I was nervous beyond belief, and I was definitely out of shape, but I went anyway. Going into that first women's class I had no idea how life changing this experience was going to be. I have found a community of wonderful, empowering and welcoming women! After each class I feel so empowered and confident. I am incredibly grateful for Lionheart Jiu-Jitsu to offer a women's only class. I can't recommend it enough!
I spent a couple of years learning another martial arts form but could just never get into the training methods they had. I've just gotten started with Lionheart Jiujitsu and already feel more interested in the material. I feel like I'm already learning many beneficial skills for my job and self defense.

Okay, first off, I want you to think about everything you hate about your current BJJ place. Got it? Are your teeth grinding? Does your back ache just thinking about endless warmups and then a half hour of actual training? All those things you hate? They don't do those here. Lionheart Jiu Jitsu was founded by people who get it. The instruction is top notch, friendly, and most of all, patient and kind. You will learn here, and every day you're not in class you'll be wishing you were. I knew once I started training that Bjj was going to be a life-long passion of mine and decided to try different schools early on in order to find the one where I was happiest. Professor Brett Werner has put a lot of thought into what his ideal jiu-jitsu academy would look like, and it shows in every detail. The facility is cozy and basic, but this keeps class sizes smaller and allows Lionheart to use a pricing structure that ends up costing less than most other gyms in the region. The program is hyper-focused on helping individual students achieve their goals and on passing on a very potent style of jiu-jitsu focused on the basics of leverage, pressure, and fundamentally sound technique without a lot of bells and whistles. An excellent place to train for beginners seeking a solid foundation for their jiu-jitsu or for more advanced students who want a coach who will focus on specific aspects of their game and are looking to join a tight-knit group of fellow BJJ enthusiasts.
