This gym makes you feel like family. Very welcoming. Jacare is great with the students and is an excellent coach.
At Jacare the level of instructions is far above any of the other gyms we have gone to. They get their competition team ready for tournament. They make it fun for the kids. Even with it being an individual sport they make it a team environment. They learn discipline and self confidence. I highly recommend this gym.

World class jiujitsu being taught from children to adult. I’ve been to a few schools in the area but none match the level being taught here. Both instructors Prof Jacare and Prof Lucas resumes speak for themselves. If you have a child that practices/wants to practice/compete jiujitsu and are able to commute here then I highly recommend you not waste your time anywhere else. If you are a teen/adult/masters look no further, training under these professors is a once and a lifetime opportunity.

I have so much to say about Jacare martial arts academy!! My daughter has been going there for over a year now and her progress has been phenomenal. All coaches make us feel like a part of a big family. My daughter learned new skills and became more confident and disciplined. She was competing too!!
This is one of the finest Jiu-Jitsu schools in the area. They are AMAZING with kids! The Coaches are top tier and take the time to teach the students the fundamentals and proper technique. They are very encouraging to all students, regardless of level. They work with students to always be their best, never letting them give up. What I love more than anything, is the coaches are also teaching life skills that are important such as eye contact, shaking someone's hand, showing respect, and being kind to everyone. I recommend Jacare to anyone that wants to get their son or daughter involved and learn Jiu-Jitsu, you won't regret it. If I could give them more than five stars, I would.
I don’t have enough words for the jacare jujitsu school we have been coming since they started and see how much they have grown since is amazing!! The way the teacher and lead instructor guides and cares for the children is like no other place I have been to! Coach joa is so patient with the kids but also pushes them to do their best it’s such a nice balance. The entire team so qualified this is one of the best! If you are looking into jujitsu definitely give them a try you won’t regret it. They are just amazing!

Without a doubt it is the best place to train jiu-jitsu. Family environment, excellent structure, everything very clean and the best is this technical quality of training. Very good coaches and Jacaré (World Champion) leading the competition training. My 9-year-old son trains jiu-jitsu, NoGi, Judo and does competition training for an hour each. In my opinion, it couldn't be better.

There is so much praise to give! Larissa has been so warm and welcoming to my daughter. I am so grateful that Larissa was encouraging and supportive as my daughter makes this transition to learn a new skill. She completely eradicated my daughter’s fears! Coach Joa is so energetic! His passion for martial arts and teaching fuels him and his energy is so endearing; the children are receptive to his teaching style and they learn quickly under his and Jacare’s guidance. My daughter has improved so much in just a week. Jacare is everything you expect and more! He’s great with the children and gives them one-on-one support. I absolutely love JAM! It’s like a second home for my husband and kiddos. My kids enjoy very much training there, it is the best place that I found for them to learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The coaches are well prepared to teach, performing the training sections at a very high discipline level and at the same time in a fun way to keep the kids interested.
