My little boy (5) has only been going a few months but it is the highlight of his week! He can’t wait to go and the staff and sessions are great. I love watching him too and seeing him learn. The staff are super friendly and so helpful. Couldn’t recommend the team and sessions highly enough.

Fun and engaging for the children as well as still teaching them the skills needed to succeed. My son has been taking part for a year and a half now loves it. My daughter is looking forward to starting when she turns 4

Great place to train. I have done Ju Jitsu since I was 12, am nearing 18, and currently training for my yellow belt. Instructors and lessons are brilliant and I would 100% recommend this to anyone interested in martial arts 🥋

My son joined the infants' classes over a month ago, and after trying various other activities and clubs throughout the years, I can honestly say that Ishin Ryu Jiu Jitsu has been a great success. The classes are well structured, with plenty of opportunities for the children to burn off energy between learning techniques – The techniques are then then incorporated into further activities which is an excellent way to engage them in a structured environment while maintaining the fun needed to keep them coming back. It’s a really welcoming environment and there are no expectations regarding fitness levels or prior knowledge when children join. Sempai Joe and Max tailor their teaching exceptionally well to each student, spending more time with some when needed, or pairing more experienced students with those who are newer to the club to support them. They also manage to form a great relationship with the children, whilst maintaining the discipline expected in such an environment, which is a difficult balance to find and one they have clearly mastered. I could go on and on, but I'll conclude by saying that if you have a child who would benefit from a fun and structured environment, where they learn valuable techniques for self-defence and general fitness, and, above all, have fun while burning off plenty of energy, then Ishin Ryu is the place for them. The first lesson was free, and there was no pressure to come back afterwards, so there's really nothing to lose by giving it a try!

My daughter has recently joined the club and she's enjoying her classes so far. After 6 years in karate, she loves the change. The instructor is really kind and takes his time with the kids to engage and making sure they do the move right. Well impressed so far

My son attends Watton club. Took a year to get him there. He's grown in confidence and loves the club. Trevor is an outstanding instructor often offering life tips and pearls of wisdom to his students. He is a credit to martial arts philosophy and the club
