I’ve a friendship who started BJJ one by one at ICA and eventually I went to try it. Originally was reluctant as it was outside my comfort zone and I never thought about doing something like this! I went to try once and never stopped going! I’m even competing next weekend, so it’s a leisurely hobby, but when I’m up for it, I can do it competitively, all within my pace. It’s been great, from the point of understanding the sport better, which is way safer than what I thought, it’s great fitness and the guys there are great, so there’s a very good social aspect, and no egos which I like! The instructors are great, Janis is a great black belt instructor and very experience. Same for the others There are sessions everyday, weekdays have them in the morning afternoon and evening so I can go whenever works around me!
Posted 3 months agoMy son, who is just turning 5, absolutely loves coming here. Friendly and professional instructors who clearly love what they do and are very good with kids. I wish we could come more often😊Hopefully they're considering having classes on Fridays, too😉
Posted a month agoNice clean and modern gym with shower facilities and changing rooms. Amazing club, very welcoming and suitable for all levels. Whether your a hobbyist or a competitor, there are classes for everyone. Elite level coaches who are always helpful and take time out to teach each individual and help improve everyone's BJJ level. Very friendly members and welcoming coaches. Would highly recommend to anyone
Posted a year agoClean and friendly with a great atmosphere. The coaches are of a very high level and always on hand to answer questions. Shower facilities, clean bathroom and male and female changing rooms. They also run a very successful kids program.
Posted a year agoIf you're curious about starting BJJ or are experienced with the art, this is the place to be. I would highly recommend this academy, started 9 months ago and it has been the best journey I've been on. Everyone's friendly and welcoming, you'll have a great time! The coaches are of high level and I couldn't recommend any better!
