We celebrated my son's birthday at this dojo and everyone had a great time. Everything went really well, and every kid laughed, learned and enjoyed themselves. This is a great community oriented place where kids and adults feel respected and can have a great experience, whether it's a birthday one or a class.

Miao Lao

My daughter has started learning Jiu-Jitsu since she came to Canada. She eats well, sleeps well, and rarely gets sick or catches a cold. It is very good for boosting her self-confidence and self-protection. The coach is very good and treats the children as if they are her own. Many children climbed on the coach's back to play together after class.

My family has been going to Innovative Martial Arts for about 1.5 years now and have recently just finished having a birthday party here for the second time. We were so impressed with the service and attention to detail last time that it was a no-brainer to do it again. Andrew, Lindsay, and the team have been such a pleasure to work with. You give them a date/time and theme, bring a cake, then they take care of everything. Setup, cleanup, ordering food, serving food, entertainment.... you name it! The party included custom artwork as well as a birthday gift, both uniquely made for the birthday boy/girl based on their interests. This year we were surprised to he presented with a posterboard collage of some of the art and quickly developed photos - all this before we said goodbye and walked out the door. Very impressive! The kids had a great time and we were thankful we got to enjoy the party. Thanks for your hard work, IMA team!

I can not say enough great things about the event space, the staff, the organization! My son had the best 5th birthday ever and we had 15 kids ! To be honest I was a bit worried about planning with that many kids but promptly my mind was put as ease by by the staff as I did not have to do a THING besides bring the cake! They truly know how to support the parents through the entire experience as well as put on an absolutely EPIC birthday party!

Thank you for giving my son a very memorable birthday party! I was very amazed with how Andrew and his assistant handled the party with 17 kids (aged 6-7)! The kids were very attentive and participative in the entire program. Their birthday party package was very different from the "typical" children's party which was one of the reason on why I booked them for my son's birthday! The program of the 2 hour party was very organized. It included mini activities/games, performing safe martial techniques, eating pizza, slicing the cake with REAL samurai sword, doing the piñata and many more.. Everyone had a blast! The kids didn't want to go home yet as they were enjoying so much the party. It was truly a very one of a kind. A very hassle free celebration indeed - as they took care of everything from hosting the party, preparing activities for the kids, slicing the pizza and cake, designing the piñata, providing the utensils, setting up the tables and the list goes on. They had a viewing room for parents too. They also allowed us to bring outside foods for the parents/adults that opted to stay. There were many highlights of this party and one of it was the personalized sword that they gave to my son! Also, I appreciated that they designed the sword and piñata according to my son's birthday theme / interest which was One Piece the Japanese anime. Thank you Lindsay and Andrew!
