I can’t recommend Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Academy highly enough. I needed to find a placement for a young person at very short notice, and Q the head trainer was absolutely fantastic from the very beginning. He was friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful, and his communication has been excellent every step of the way. Most importantly, the young person is absolutely thriving there. She’s not only enjoying the boxing and training, but she’s also working towards qualifications in boxing and weightlifting, which is brilliant to see. A massive thank you to Q and everyone at Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Academy for going above and beyond, making her feel welcome and giving her such a positive opportunity. If you’re looking for a supportive, encouraging and genuinely caring boxing gym, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place, Friendly staff. The owner Q took time to take my son on pads etc and showed him around. A really family orientated gym.

My lad really enjoys going here. Really good instructor and it's a great atmosphere with no macho posturing permitted. £3 a session for a kid is a really good rate too.
