Hammer Jiu Jitsu is a great place! Both my 11 and 7 year old children attended classes! They are kind, friendly and very patient with the children. They even did check ins when the kids missed classes which shows that they care. My children enjoyed their time here and just decided that they wanted to try something else. I would highly recommend Hammer to anyone! They are great!

Absolutely love This place !!!! I thought my 4 year old was not going to enjoy it… and here we are 5 months in and she asks everyday if she has Jiujitsu. The Professor and all the Coaches are super amazing.

The best Jiu Jitsu gym for kids and adults in all Connecticut! Coach Wojciech and coach Adam are amazing. The way they welcome you and the vibes in the gym are always positive, all the students there are respectful and you can easily make new friends! The gym is always clean and this is something really important especially for a sport like jiu jitsu. If you leave in Connecticut in Fairfield, I recommend you to go for a trial class, you won’t regret it!

I came in at 31 with very little experience (some wrestling when I was younger). Professor and the members at this gym have been nothing but INCREDIBLY welcoming and supportive. The classes are taught with care and attention. The workout is insane - you leave drenched in sweat. And as a beginner; I’ve never once felt worried about rolling with higher belts. There are no egos at this gym - just gentle warriors looking to master their own craft and help others. Honestly, it’s been life changing to join.

Hammer BJJ is without a doubt the best place to train and learn jiu jitsu. Everything from the facility, to the level of instruction is top notch here. What I've found to be most refreshing is how detailed and thorough the program is. It's really clear that Professor Wojciech genuinely cares about the progress of each student. The vibes here are always amazing! The atmosphere is positive and fun, even during hard training. Everyone is super welcoming to people of all walks of life, which makes for a really fun diverse team to learn/grow with. Training here is without a doubt one of the best decisions I've ever made. If you're looking for a new place to train, or considering jiu jitsu for the first time, definitely come through!

I started my bjj path at Unity in NYC. I moved from the city and was looking for a place to train in CT. Professor Wojceich and Hammer Jiu Jitsu was exactly what I was looking for. Coming from Unity in NYC, I wanted to continue training where the instructor is very technical and explains the mechanics of the movement to understand how to be efficient with the move. Highly recommend Hammer BJJ. Everyone was welcoming and you get solid rolls in with talented people.

Joined Hammer last year after moving to the area and searching for a new place to train. Immediately was attracted to the high level of instruction and attention to detail. It’s hard to believe but most days there are 4 to 5 black belts on the mats sharing and helping to make everyone better. The mindset and culture is all about putting in hard work. New location is amazing - a clean, gallery like setting with lots of mat space and amenities.

The instructors are high level Jiu Jitsu practitioners, have the skill required to teach and make it easy for anyone to learn, and most important are very good people.
