Started doing bjj here around the start of the year and it's been brilliant, everybody here is so knowledgeable, helpful and (most importantly I feel) welcoming. I was really nervous on my first session as I have never done anything like it, but from the first point of contact that I made with Craig on Instagram to the end of the first session with Craig, Stewart, Dave and everybody taking part in the lesson was super nice helpful and didn't just get beat up lol. I got proper looked after and still do. I always take every opportunity to advocate this brilliant BJJ school and try and get people down to try it, so give it a go you won't regret it. Updated review This review is more of an update from a previous review than a fresh one, however I felt it nessecery to update and let eveyone know what a fantastic gym this place really is. Having trained here now for around a year and a half things have changed here massively, the investment that has gone into the gym is brilliant, they have new mats down (which i didn't realise cost an absolute bomb), new led lights for the ceiling, new mats at the spectators benched area, the branding around the gym looks brilliant and much more. Ive never been able to comment on the kids class before but my 11 year old started attending a few weeks back and he is besotted with the place, he would live there if he could, jon and dave that do the kids GI classes are top notch with the kids and they learn so much and really is great to watch them develop not just with BJJ but as people aswell, the same is said for craig and stew that do the kids NO GI they are fantastic. The cleanliness of the gym is also on point, its hoovered and disenfected every night and deep cleaned periodicly, I myself have never caught any skin infections of any sort and they really push the hygine of the gym and even advise on products to disenfect GI and NO GI wear to make sure its safe for everybody. I realise now I am babbaling and am going to stop it their as i could bang on all day about it lol. But overall the gym is warm, friendly, welcoming and open and inclusive to everybody, if you want to start a new journey of fitness or want to learn somthing new all while making new friends and feeling accepted, this is the gym for you.

Took my young dare I say know it all grandson , and since joining he has improved in patience attitude and is more thoughtful , this place not only teaches great jujitsu but also the importance of being respectful thoughtful and an all round decent person, my grandson knows boundaries better now and loves his training sessions, the thought of not going should he step out of line , is enough to keep him behaved thoughtful and respectful, ofcourse he has his momments, but hes just a kid , yet jujitsu at grapple house has given him a better look at life in general, taught him values and skills , he absolutely loves this place ,

I've been training here for a few months now and it's been an excellent experience from day one. The coaching is top class, with instructors who genuinely care about helping everyone improve, whether you're stepping onto the mats for the first time or have years of experience. One thing that really stands out is the atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming, supportive and willing to help each other learn. The sessions are challenging, technical and a lot of fun, and there's a real sense of team spirit throughout the gym. The gym itself is also exceptionally well run. The mats and facilities are kept clean and sanitised, with high standards of hygiene that make it a great environment to train in and show the care and professionalism that goes into running the club. I've gained new skills, improved my fitness and confidence, and met some great people along the way. If you're thinking about starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or looking for a place to train, I couldn't recommend this gym highly enough.
