Incredibly welcoming and an extremely friendly atmosphere with knowledgeable and welcoming coaches. High quality professional coaching where the coaches really care about your progression. Coach Eduardo is a very professional, kind and knowledgeable instructor who outlines technique in a clear way. This place is the perfect example of what BJJ and the community that comes along with it, is all about. Would recommend to all who wish to learn BJJ as this academy is the platinum standard. Truly 5-star -ANN-

My young son and I have been training here for a little over 2 years now. Having trained with many different clubs both in the UK and Australia I would say that this is one of the best around. It's a great club, with great instructors, which is safe for one and all. Though a little hard to find the first time, so here's a photo of the entrance... Down the alleyway, turn left, then turn right and go downstairs.

What a great business. Well organised, friendly, professional. My two boys have been attending classes twice a week for a few years now and still love it. The trainers are fabulous. My boys confidence and respect for themselves and others is growing weekly. I also enjoy circuit training up to four times a week. I'd highly recommend these guys to anyone

Excellent coaching and training, a great, modern facility, a great community and team atmosphere and excellent kids classes. I've trained a many BJJ gyms around the world and Grand Union Brighton is certainly world class. Cesar and Mario are expert coaches at the highest level who make sure training is fun, safe, challenging and rewarding. There is a great mix of levels and styles in the people who train there but there is a consistent culture of respect, friendship and mutual progression. Very highly recommended for beginners and experts alike.
