Marine Brighton BJJ is a fantastic place for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the facility is spotless. Conveniently located near supermarkets and shopping centers, it also offers free parking throughout Brighton. The instructors are supportive and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
What a place, great tuition, friendly environment and perfect to learn Jiu Jitsu
Simply put - I absolutely love training with Gus and the team and couldn't recommend this academy enough! I didn't expect to take up a jiu jistu at the age of 42 but I'm so glad I did. It's become such a central part of my life and I regularly go 4-6 times per week. Gus is a fantastic teacher and the training partners are all amazing, respectful and fun to train with. There's free parking and the facilities are kept in pristine clean condition, which makes for a briliant training environment. I tried out a few different clubs before finding Gus's academy so have something to compare against. I can honestly say the quality of teaching, the environment and Gus and the training partners set this place apart from the rest. If you're thinking about taking up jiu-jistu then come down - we'd love to have you train with us 🙂
I have been training here for over a year and if I could give it more stars I would! 10/10 amazing atmosphere and classes. A very welcoming and safe space for me to train as a woman I highly recommend the club.
Perfect place to learn jiujitsu, excellent coaching with a focus on long-term health and training for longevity. Brilliant people there with the best community both on and off the mats. Highly recommend.
Have been training at the Academy for almost six months. My first experience of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It has been astonishing. Gus has built an extraordinary environment, his instruction is first class, supportive yet demanding, I feel I have grown even in such a short time. The other students are equally fantastic, friendly, welcoming and giving. This is a wonderful place to train.
I've been training under Gus for nearly 3 years at the academy, and I can honestly say it's one of the greatest decisions I ever made. The coaching is of the very highest quality, the school itself is always clean and tidy, and the atmosphere amongst everyone has always been very kind and welcoming. Cannot recommend highly enough
