Very nice, spacious and clean gym. The curriculum is clear and diverse, Andrei and Nick create an awesome culture to learn BJJ here. I'm glad I started my BJJ journey with them. Highly recommended.
Really enjoy the culture here. My wife and young daughter attend classes as well. We all feel welcomed and that the instruction is focused on keeping us safe on and off the mats.
If you are considering trying Jui Jitsu, I wholeheartedly recommend that you go ahead and stop in for a few sessions. The coaches here are world class. The atmosphere is family friendly. Be it for self-defense, self-improvement, or this gym is both welcoming and challenging. Show up for a new year resolution, you will likely spend the next few years enjoying learning new skills and improving yourself in many ways!

Sooo happy I joined this gym. The programs are extremely affordable. I was intimidated at first about joining the sport, but so glad I did. I have the whole family involved now. Classes and instructors are great. They have a ladies only self defense class and there are a bunch of women in the regular adult class. They have people of all ages and sizes so please don't let that hold you back. I'm really looking forward to continuing classes for as long as possible.

Andre, the owner of this gym is genuinely a good person. He really cares about his students and what they teach at. This gym is very valuable. They're huge on safety and teach all aspects of Jiu-Jitsu. Highly recommend Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Mukilteo!
I love this jiu jitsu gym, they are very knowledgeable and safety is one of there biggest strong points. They teach self defense but also all other aspects of jiu jitsu and a big plus is the judo they teach as well! I highly recommend this gym!
The teaching at this school is really, really good. The focus starts with the fundamentals, and the instructors are very experienced and knowledgeable. Having been disappointed and injured at other schools in the area, I have found this to be a fantastic learning environment where anyone is welcome and can flourish. I could not recommend a BJJ academy more strongly!
Andre is the best! Always makes everyone feel welcome and involved in the training. If you want to boost your self confidence, awareness and ability to defend yourself and your family, this is the place!
As an adult beginner, I was afraid of what to expect, and if I would last even a month. Andre is fantastic not only as an instructor but a genuinely caring human being who puts his life and soul into the well being of his students, on and off the mat. The atmosphere is very encouraging, senior students will lead beginners, without ever making you feel inadequate and there is a genuine sense of camaraderie and learning together. A fantastic place to get on the mat to learn more about yourself!
They are hands down the sweetest ppl I’ve ever met. My kids confidence and her ability to speak up for herself has shot through the roof!

My kids (8/6) were introduced to jiu jitsu here under Andre's instruction. Let me tell you, he is an amazing teacher. Great with kids and thanks to him they love joy jitsu. They learn very well in his environment and he's very fair and generous with pricing. He has a passion for people that you can tell runs deep. Definitely a great experience we will never forget.
André is an amazing teacher. Not only he has a good soul and positive energy but he really knows how to teach people and keeps them all safe at the same time. It was nerve racking for me to try out Ji Jitsu for the very first time but André was extremely welcoming and the students are super friendly too. This is a tremendous place to be if you want to learn Jiu Jitsu, build confidence and healthy mindset. 100% recommend! 👍👍
Andre is a great instructor, whether the student is 5 years old or 85. He truly cares about students' progress and about creating a safe and encouraging environment.
This is a just great gym! I remember being a little intimidated when I walked in on my first day, but all the instructors immediately made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and interactive and the instructors are extremely knowledgeable!
I absolutely LOVED training at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Mukilteo. I trained there for about a year before COVID hit, as did my young daughter. Andre, Dan, Mason, & Nicholas are such great instructors. Patient. Dedicated. Encouraging. And they made it fun for the kids, too. Unfortunately, we had to stop in-person training because of the governor's lockdown. In the end - after nearly 20 years in Seattle - we made the decision to leave WA state in favor of a more conservative area. It was a sad day when I walked out of GJJM for the last time. It's a great school, and I miss the friends I made there. Can't recommend it highly enough! Love you guys - wish I could have taken you with me...
I've practiced martial arts most of my adult life and it is rare when you find a school like this one. The instructors have an incredible skill set and can teach as well ! If your looking for a school that teaches realistic self defense in a safe environment, this is place !
Great place to train. The instructors are top notch, They are invested in the success of thier students, knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. There is a sense of community here where we as students grow, help each other learn, friendly as we all progress under the guidance of the instructors. The mats are clean and great to train on. Andre(owner) is one of the best martial arts instructors I have known.
Excellent place to learn Gracie Jiu Jitsu! Andre is an amazing instructor! Great with kids and adults alike. The facility is nice and clean and spacious. The atmosphere is welcoming to all ages and skill levels and there are no jerks with massive egos. You will learn the most effective self defense in a safe respectful atmosphere!

I had came to this gym a couple years ago looking for answers within myself and not only was I able to push myself to find those answers in the mat and off the mat but I was able to make great friends along the journey.
I started going to this gym in the beginning of January 2020 and so far it's been nothing but great. I've been doing martial arts throughout my whole life, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best places I have ever visited. Despite my competitive nature, I enjoy how friendly everyone is, very eager to help and it really feels like everyone I trained with has left their ego at the doors of the gym. It's worth noting that André, gym owner, is a stellar example of what a gym owner should be like. When I stepped into the lobby, he noted me from the other side of the gym and came up right away. André made me feel extremely welcomed, and I am truly looking forward for the days when I have classes. If you are looking for a place to learn a classic Gracie (Brazilian) Jiu-Jitsu that focuses on self-defense, this is a place to go. I am also planning to bring my spouse in the future for their "Women Empowered" self-defense program.
My two kids and I train here and love the curriculum and the positive energy. Andre, the instructor/owner, does a phenomenal job at teaching the art to both adults and kids. He makes learning fun for the kids, and mine can't wait to come back to train every week. I enjoy the safe, no ego training as I'm more interested in the art and learning for self defense purposes rather than for tournaments. I also have injuries and am able to train around them safely.
