  Great facility, large mat space, incredible coaching/instruction, and fantastic culture. Being a woman in a male dominated sport can be challenging but the decision to train here feels easy. The members are respectful and make me feel safe and the large women’s locker room with a private shower are such a huge bonus. Tough training that makes you want to keep coming back.

  My son is in the younger kids for Jiu-Jitsu… and I couldn’t be happier!!! Everyone is GREAT! My son is 5 and everyone has such patience to catch him up to speed! Carlos is amazing! My sons brags about his teacher all the time! He looks forward to it being Wednesday every single day! This place is so personable and very organized. You will not regret your decision on coming here! Amazing!!!

  Undoubtedly the best Kids Program in the area. Trust me, we tried them all before landing here. Carlos is a fantastic coach. Holds the kids to a high standard. The older kids are leaders in the room which translates to being leaders in life. The younger kids aren't shunned for chasing butterflies, rather, prompted to rejoin the class and partake in the activities. Plenty of coaches, every kid gets attention. 10/10

  The best jiujitsu gym in Kansas City. I travel for work and I’m always visiting new jiujitsu gyms when I’m traveling across the country. Gracie Humaita Kansas City is one of the best gyms I’ve ever had the privilege of training at. The instructors have created a culture of safety, high performance, and effective technique practice. In other words, if you want to learn REAL jiujitsu, be surrounded by athletes, and have a safe environment to do it with great students - look no further I appreciated the friendliness and how the students and instructors welcomed me even though I’m from a different school and lineage of Jiu-Jitsu. I was impressed with the workout and the caliber of students they have created. Whether you’re a guest or wanting to try Jiu-Jitsu for the first time, this is the best school in Kansas City to take lessons from. Thanks for having me

  Great school! Great Teaching! Coach Sean is very patient, knowledgeable and hospitable. I recently came in town which was work related and stopped in to train. I want to say thanks for helping me along my journey! I’m just a white belt trying to train and grow. I would recommend this school to all! I train in Arizona and if I lived in KC this would surely be my home. Thanks to all who I had the privilege to train and roll with tonight! God Bless!
