Gracie Barra Haringey will always mean a lot to me — it’s the place where I earned my BJJ black belt after years of hard work and growth on the mats. I had the privilege of training and teaching there for four and a half years, surrounded by an incredible team and community that pushed me to improve every day. I have known head coach Henrique Santana for over 15 years and has to be the best coach I have ever trained with. He takes all his students in like family and makes his facility a fantastic environment to train.
Coaches are great and really motivating. The classess have great positive vibe and kids really work hard! My boy loves it and the friendliness of everybody. After classes they always play around together and some of the older kids help the younger with some moves .
Highly recommended for children and the whole family. The environment is prepared to welcome students and teach high-quality Jiu-Jitsu.

If you are looking to develop your BJJ skills (as either an amateur or professional) or have never stepped inside a BJJ school but are keen on learning the discipline, then don't look anywhere else, this is where you need to go. Normally this is where a review for a fighting gym/school will suddenly talk about the personal history and past achievements of the principle coach or teacher as a hook to get your subs. Not Gracie Barra Haringey. Is it led by senior black belts who bring a wealth of technical and competition knowledge and experience? Of course it is. But what you also get here is an ethos, which is that every time you step on that mat you are going to learn, and learn together as a team. This place has that very rare atmosphere which can provide extremely high level technical training, while at the same time, on the same mat, in the same class, be welcoming and inclusive to the newest student.
