An amazing facility with even better instructors. Professor Mark Philips has an incredible depth of knowledge in martial arts and has travelled the world sharing his expertise. Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

I highly recommend the mix BJJ classes and the only female class. It is rare to find an instructor with the level of expertise that Mark Phillips brings to the mat—he has been a black belt for at least 14 years now , and that depth of experience is evident in every session. The technical knowledge is world-class, yet the atmosphere remains incredibly welcoming with a great vibe among the students. The atmosphere at London Wing Chun Academy is extremely friendly and welcoming. Grappling with people of all levels has been a great experience — everyone trains hard but respects each other, which makes a big difference. Dr Mark has a really down-to-earth approach to teaching BJJ. No ego, no nonsense — just solid coaching and clear guidance. I’ve learned a lot in a short time and always look forward to the next session. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that’s both serious about training and genuinely supportive.

I've been training at Origin BJJ since 2018 and I truly love it here! Sifu Mark is a great teacher and mentor for absolutely everyone and he has built a great culture around his academy. There are classes everyday at different times to suit everyone, so come and give it a try (especially if you are a geek), because I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
