  Very good coach lots of experience in mma been in the ufc and trained with very good fighters also one if not the only black belts in stoke .good gym area clean mats solid gear that will last you very good gym .

  Ross is a really good coach, he keeps you motivated and welcomed into the gym, he is patient and shows your skills and takes his time to teach you the beat way. Also, everyone else is friendly and they help you out if you’re unsure of something. The equipment is of good quality and id say it is one of the best MMA gyms within the city.

  Gladiators is a brilliant gym. Ross is a fantastic coach, he firstly has great concern for his members, and has interested in them as people not just customers. His experience and understanding of the sport is very valuable, and if you are thinking about trying Martial Arts Gladiators is a great place to come.

  Great gym and coach - been training here few months now and have loved it - would recommend to anyone. Ross is very knowledgeable and makes everyone feel welcome who comes in!

  Brilliant MMA gym, probably the best in Stoke. With Ross' experience, there's an unlimited amount of techniques you can learn, and it is always taught in stages which makes it easy for new people to pick up and learn. Always a good atmosphere, and a great laugh.

  I would 100% recommend this gym to anyone. My son has been attending here for a few weeks now after a bullying incident at school. He is learning everything he needs to defend himself should that type of situation arise again but on top of that he's learning routine and structure and has developed a lot more confidence in himself. He's also enjoying it all whilst he's learning and can never wait to attend his next session. Ross is a fantastic instructor with a wealth of knowledge and experience, he and all the other members have made my son feel really welcome and a part of something special. So thankyou to all at Gladiator MMA Gym 😊

  Trained under Ross for well over a year and a half , learnt a lot from him Very quickly and considering Ross to be a good friend to me , wish I could have stayed at gladiator but on this occasion life got in the way

  The team aspect is very very real, its great. You are made to feel extremely welcome, you are all a brotherhood, a unit, and that is nice. But, sadly, i was never even taught how to throw a punch, a kick, or even how to stand to ensure balance. Not much learning going on, just 1 odd technique per session that looks cool, but isn't of much use realisticly. Expensive joiners fee, expensive monthly fee, and expensive Gladiator branded gear which you HAVE to buy fresh from Ross, or you cannot take part in 60% of the session. Bit of a cash grab if you ask me, be willing to fork out about £500-£700 all in all to join and get everything you need. It was almost comical how every day i walked in, i was required to drop at least £100 on some new gear, or sit out for half the session. Excited coming in, dissapointed walking out. Edit: It seems Ross has taken my review very, very personally. This was not the intent. I gave a brutally honest review on my part, no hatred, jelousy, or contempt at all. I was legitimately NEVER taught how to punch, kick, or stand properly. Forgive me, but i feel these should be the basics, the foundations you are supposed to build off, the foundations i was never taught. I have never had a problem spending money on myself either, investing in myself for future benefit, its how you grow, evolve, level up. I am familiar with this concept, but i feel my money was completely wasted at Gladiator MMA gym. Ross mate, nobody is out to get you, my review was honest and not written with hatred or jelousy like you say, i dont know you enough, or care about you enough to hate you. Suggesting this is silly. Again, it was an honest review of my experience. I think your response is childish, throwing insults (something i didn't do to you), saying i can't 'hack it'. Reminds me of school kid talk on the playground. It was never worth 'hacking it' at your gym. "Im sorry you didn't fit in", is what you replied. I felt i fitted in pretty well. As i said, the team aspect, brotherhood, was very good. I felt very comfortable. You have a nice, polite, patient bunch of lads in your classes, but the learning value really wasn't there. I'm sorry you took my review as such a personal attack, really was not my intention. I would have liked to have seen a review like mine before signing up and dropping upwards of half a grand, thats why i wrote it; for somebody else, not you. Not to 'attack' your buisness. I dont care about you or your buisness enough for that. Down to 1 star for the childish reply. Honestly, i wish you well.
