The whole team, along with Ricky and Nikki, are at the top of Perth’s BJJ scene. It’s such a welcoming place that even my 3 year old daughter asks to come along when I train! GCJ is a great BJJ academy, I've learnt so much from technique to important fundamentals. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable, they're always happy to support you on your journey! 100% recommend for anyone interested in learning Brazilian jiu jitsu or just to learn something new and have some fun!

From the very first day I walked in, I felt completely welcomed. The coaches go above and beyond, and the support from everyone here is amazing. There’s such a genuine openness to share experiences and techniques, which makes training not only fun but really rewarding. Whether you’re brand new to BJJ or more advanced, this gym feels like the right place to be!

GCJ Academy is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, Nikki and Ricky make you feel right at home, they’re so warm and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. Coach Ricky’s instruction is super easy to follow, encouraging, and he makes every class fun and engaging no matter your skill level. The gym itself is always spotless and well-maintained, which really shows the pride they take in the space. It's a great little spot with an amazing community, highly recommend checking it out! 😊

As a first time member of a Jiu Jitsu academy I couldn't be more impressed with GCJ. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere put me at ease. Head coach Ricky is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to ensure everyone understands each technique. Joining GCJ was one of the best decisions I've made since having a baby, and I can’t wait to continue my journey here.
