This place is great and our kids love it. They provide a very easy pace for kids but it's still great for young ones that have tons of energy to burn. Now I want to sign up too!

I have 30 years experience in martial arts, hold multiple black belt degrees in Judo and Taekwondo, and am also a professional educator. I cannot recommend Jay’s gym highly enough. He is a true expert and fantastic teacher. He has built a supportive, laid back culture that nurtures beginners and challenges experienced players. Whether you’re interested in martial arts for fitness, self-defense, or even competitive jiu jitsu, this is a great place to learn and grow as a martial artist.

I’m so happy to be able to drop in at Four Horsemen when I’m in the area. As a visitor Jay and the other students are extremely welcoming, respectful and friendly. As a 105 lb female it’s a bit tough to find a gym to train while traveling or on vacation. This place is great for people of all shapes and sizes! I’ve been training and competing for 4 years and Four Horsemen is definitely at the top of my list for favorite gyms to visit while away from home. Also appreciate Jay sharing his knowledge with someone who is just in town for a few days. Whenever I see him he helps me fine tune my technique. Thanks for having me!

On my first visit I was greeted by multiple people with welcoming conversations. I was made to feel at home through my whole visit. I picked up a new technique during class that I had not seen before. (I use this move once in a while during live rolls at my home gym.) I like Jay and the four horsemen gym.

As a blue belt I did a drop in during one of the Saturday morning classes. I was first greeted by a few of the early students and when Jay showed up I got a big hug and a welcome. Very chill atmosphere. Music keeping us company with Jay’s easy fun instruction. Super chill. I’ve dropped into a few schools and I get pretty nerved up before. The learning environment was safe and comforting. I come from a background as an older grappler with some physical disabilities, and I felt no pressure to “tear myself apart.” Don’t get me wrong this wasn’t Mr. Rogers’s BJJ school, I did get a few taxing rolls in with one of their purple belts. If you are just dropping in or looking to jump into the deep end of the jiu jitsu life style, 4 Horsemen is a great choice. I’ll be back.
