  I returned to bjj after 1.5 years but decided to make flow state jiujitsu my new home. I love how this academy has no shady people, no drama, and everyone is cool and welcoming. People come here to train, practice, sweat, workout, have fun, laugh, and learn. This place has dignity as it has a culture of safety, meaning that you won’t get pushed around by inflated egos. As a female I feel safe here. The coaches are solid, patient, and understanding. There is also an endless supply of parking at the eagle rock mall right behind the academy. Coach Lucas teaches with positive vibes along with coach Max who is super patient and chill. Coaches Benny & Eric are also patient, knowledgable, and chill. All the coaches here are level-headed leaders. They want you to learn and get better. Come here if you want a safe place to train.

  Best training in Eagle Rock! Clean gym. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and create a welcoming environment for all skill levels. It’s a great place to grow your jiujitsu while having fun. Highly recommend!

  So much good stuff ,where to begin.Staff is welcoming and kind. They are present and they alternate throughout the week to get different approaches to techniques. Teaching modern jiu jitsu while patiently going over details. Aside from adults class they have children class and woman’s class. Mat space is small but coaches work around it by rotational training. Tons of Parking space behind gym, which I’ve see mall security pass through for safety check. Come join and be part of the growing community at Flow State.

  I recently joined Flow State Jiu-Jitsu and it has been an outstanding experience. The community is welcoming and the training is top-notch, striking the right balance between intensity and technique. Morning sessions set the tone for the day, and weekend practices round out a rigorous week. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, get in shape, or just find a great group of people to roll with, this place is second to none. Highly recommend for anyone passionate about BJJ.

  Benny and his team are doing an excellent job teaching the kids Jiu Jitsu. The coach to kids ratio is fantastic and the vibe here is phenomenal, feels like a big family. We enjoy coming here multiple times a week and my daughter now loves Jiu Jitsu thanks to the team.
