My son has been a part of this wonderful community for a couple of months now. My son is autistic, so finding a location that would be understanding and patient was crucial, and when I tell you I found the perfect place for my son.. this is the best place for kids on the autism spectrum. The entire staff is incredible, and they always make us feel welcomed and loved. My son looks forward to attending class every time. Instructor Manuk is extremely talented and is just an overall wonderful instructor. He takes his time with teaching everyone, and the patience he has is truly beautiful. If you are interested in learning patience, discipline and some cool movements and techniques for your child, register in Bejanian Martial Arts classes. You will not be disappointed. Our 6 year old son has been attending class for about a 6 mounts, and I am thoroughly impressed with his physical developments, mental focus and interest in improvement. He loves Master Manouk and has the utmost respect for him and all other instructors. I can honestly say with the upmost confidence that Master Manouk is a phenomenal teacher of not only martial arts, but working with kids of all ages!! This is a great experience for kids. I am really impressed with All Masters and instructors , their demeanor and positive influence. My wife and I are very pleased with the training, discipline and support that Bejanian Martial Arts has provided for my son this past year. Absolutely amazing!!!! I wish i had signed up my kids at an earlier age. The principles they teach, the atmosphere they provide is priceless. My 5yr girl and my 4yr boy absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE going to Karate at the Bejanian Martial Arts and ask me everyday if they can go again. One of the best martial art places you will find. The classes are fantastic and schedule is great for working parents. My son has been going from age 3 he is now 5. He loves it and is very excited to always go. Master Manouk And the other trainers and stuff are fantastic and always very helpful. My son has learned a lot of self confidence and how to be strong in life. He will be getting his purple belt and moving up to black belt club in a week. Hello, fellow participants and "would-be want to be members"! This is an update from father and son team Conrad and Patrick Mullins. As I said in our first article, speaking for myself only, I became really enthusiastic to re-enter karate when I joined my son in Bejanian exactly a year ago, October 18. Being an overbearing dad, I wanted to join him on the dojo floor every time we went. It didn't take long for me to realize I was going to do it even at my age. I am six months at it tomorrow October 2nd. Coincidentally we are both going for the purple belt this month. Speaking for myself again, when I joined I was in a not so good degree of fitness, I wasn't a wreck because I always worked and stayed active but I needed a boost. Being a former athlete of several sports, I was determined. I can honestly say that this has transformed my life and my family. As expected the first few weeks/months were hard but as the months passed, the fitness returned and the barriers were broken. It changed my outlook and my daily routine as far as being active and also my diet. I was always diet conscious but now I totally refined it especially on days of the class. We (the adult class) have two brilliant and committed world class instructors (Varouj and Manuk), as I've said I have partaken in several sports over the years but the Bejanian approach and instructors is a difference maker. Actually the whole Bejanian concept is world class. It can be witnessed by the amount of young people who are involved. You can feel the positivity when you are there. It's almost not like a grueling workout, you forget that it's a body conditioning event each time that challenges you. It's so enjoyable and rewarding. I used to almost fear the class at first but now since fitness has returned/is returning I look forward to each class. I would like to emphasize that this is 1000% down to the Bejanian approach and family atmosphere and the fact that is not just karate, it's mixed martial arts, it covers a lot of ground. We are looking forward to the next six months/year to advance our achievements and enjoy the camaraderie. I seriously can't recommend this highly enough for anyone.

This school is one of the best Marshal Arts school in LA. I have taken my kid other places but he never felt so comfortable and billed self confidence like nowhere else. The Master Manuk, and Master Bejanian make kids learn not only Marshal Arts but they teach kids respect , witch is most important thing to teach. It is our seventh year at Bejanian Martial Arts and I couldn't be happier with the type of training my two children are getting there. The warm and caring environment provided by the instructors and management has made this place our second home. Classes are challenging, yet interesting. Bejanian martial arts is the best place to go....This place teaches you respect and cool technics....master Varouj is the best mastering the world.. in this school they teach the best of the best ... master teaches me how to do kicks that I can't even do and then I learn and do better. Master Varouj and Mr Manuk has so much love in their heart ... the staff is amazing..they are respectful and kind ... Mr. Manuk !!! He is amazing.. I love him to death..... when he teaches he makes it fun but hard ... This is an amazing school, amazing staff, and amazing teacher...

I have been going to Bejanian Martial Arts for about 7 years and I have learned a lot and I know how to defend myself now. The teachers in Bejanian Martial Arts are the best and they will teach you about dicipline, to have respect, and other things. If u haven't gone to this martial arts well than I 100% recommend u to go.

Bejanian Martial Arts is an amazing school! My son started a few months ago and it has already built-up his confidence, he loves going to his classes. At Bejanian Martial Arts, besides the techniques, kids learn to be focused, consistent, and respectful. They are encouraged to study hard at school. Couldn't be happier. I came from a different martial arts school and when I started I didnt stand a chance against the other students, and it took no more than a few months for my instructors to catch me up. Master Varouj is an incredible teacher, both in martial arts and in moral principals, and there's never a day where I regret joining this amazing school.

Words could not express my gratitude for Bejanian Martial Arts. As a former Physical Education Teacher and currently a Physician Assistant, I can attest for the style of instruction, the physical education, and the life lessons that are taught in this most supreme institution. My kids, ages 5 and 7, attend the Glendale location and after observing one class with my kids a couple of years ago, unsure if my kids would show interest in returning, I approached their instructor Mr. Manuk and told him that I will pray for my children to wish to join, however, I must take this opportunity to let you know that I hope that you never stop doing what you are doing because you are very good at it. I was especially touched by his style that I found to be gentle, but firm. This is exactly the style that is necessary to draw kids into an environment in which they can mature physically and emotionally, while earning the discipline necessary to succeed in life all white having fun and having a sense of belonging to a family.

More than one great thing comes to my mind when I mention the name of this school - an amazing place for kids to be, wonderful environment for them to work out in and learn their martial arts skills. Master is the most humble person on earth and of course his instructors are the greatest role models for our kids. Respect and self discipline are among lots of things that are being taught and not to mention the importance of staying and doing well in school. I can say "thank you" a billion times and over and over for making my kids who they are. Not just one, but both of my children are well balanced teenagers because of the values that were put in them over the years at this school.
