  I was in Butler PA for work for a few days, and wanted to train. I found this place on google maps, and called Jason to see if I could swing by for a drop in. Jason was super friendly, and runs a great program. The vibe was great, I'll definitely be coming by again if I'm ever in PA. Everyone was nice, no goons despite being a visiting black belt, never felt like I had a target on my back lol. Loved it, hope I get to train here again.

  I’d recommend Empower to anyone who wants to try jiu jitsu. Jason does a great job teaching, breaking down every technique so that’s easy to digest and learn but also keeping the classes a ton of fun. The atmosphere is great with plenty of people willing to train with and teach you a thing or two.

  Everything my Coach teaches works! Empower Jiu Jitsu is more than just a gym, it’s a place where you grow, learn, and push yourself beyond limits you didn’t think were possible. Coach Jason has created an incredible environment that is welcoming to everyone, regardless of experience level. His attention to detail, focus on safety, and ability to break down techniques in a way that actually works make him an outstanding instructor. Since training here, I’ve not only improved my skills but also gained confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of community. Everything my Coach teaches works!   Empower made my granddaughter feel welcome right away. Coach Jason has the kids working hard and loving it. Its only been a month and she already has noticeable improvement in confidence and knows some moves too.

  I am from Chicago and was visiting a friend in Butler for 2-3 weeks. I trained here at Empower as it was one of few BJJ academies nearby. This gym was super clean, everyone was super nice and welcoming, and Coach Jason teaches so well! I enjoyed training here and learned a lot! I had great rolls with people of different levels and they were all diligent with injuries I had. I appreciate Coach Jason for welcoming me into the gym and sharing his vast knowledge of BJJ. Highly recommend coming here for kids and adults!!
