Driven Jiu Jitsu has become a second home for my daughter where she feels welcomed, safe, and inspired. The kids are treated with kindness, respect, and dignity while also being held to high standards of behavior and character.

It’s tricky to count the many different BJJ gyms in the valley and I haven’t been to any other locations except this one, with my son, because this was our first and last stop. We can all agree that there are many aspects to winning someone’s business, I can confidently say this business is easily 5 stars in all aspects. Thank you, Driven Jiujitsu, for creating an amazing environment in so many ways.

Visiting Boise decided to drop in to Driven jiujitsu and glad that I did. From the time I walked in I was made welcome and everyone was super nice. The instructor and the instructions were all top notch. Definitely a great place to train.

I don't usually post reviews for things but i feel like the changes i have seen in my boys warrants a comment. Driven has been an absolute game changer for my kiddos. My oldest (7) deals with super low self confidence and pretty severe adhd/anxiety. He has tried other martial arts and even other bjj schools in the valley, but Driven just clicked for him. Professor Matt, coach Kris and coach Mike are nothing short of amazing. They make all of the kids feel capable, welcomed, cared for and are the ultimate hype team. We are so lucky to be apart of the Driven Family!!

I personally have always been apprehensive of martial arts as a true form of self protection. I grew up with friends in various martial art fields and it always seemed like such a money grab. Buy a gi. Buy a belt. Buy a useless foam weapon. Pay gym fee. Rinse repeat. Until I learned about Brazilian Ju Jitsu. It started with a coworker raving about how wonderful their gym was. At first I dismissed it...as most people do. The movies have made us predisposed to see martial arts in an "interesting" light. After a lot of convincing I took my 6 year old autistic daughter to a class. I figured why not. At worst she will make some friends. However, she did much more than that. Driven is such a supportive and all inclusive environment. I was shocked at how they treated my daughter (showing up in jeans and a slack tee btw). She received a loaner gi and hit the mats like she was one of the many other kids that train every day. Ever since than she has thrived. Her self confidence has improved. She for once in her life will tell me when she doesn't like something. (Not something a lot of parents want....but for her...it was big). I am just so proud seeing her come out of her shell and participate. The professor Matt is absolutely amazing in helping the kids learn and grow. He cultivates such a unique culture. I love that my daughter is now a part of. He challenges the kids to do better every day and doesn't accept excuses. Growing up I went to many gyms, watching my friends compete....but I have never seen such a unique and inviting environment. Sometimes the kids class will be absolutely packed with students. At first I worried that my kid wouldn't get the same amount of experience because of it. However, when the kids class gets that full the adults class coach will step in. It's absolutely fantastic. The way the owners run this gym together is perfect. I am so happy my daughter and I are part of it and I hope to watch them grow even bigger and reach even more students in the future. They recently had a 1 year anniversary kids tournament. And my daughter actually won a gold metal! I was so proud and it made her the happiest I think I have ever seen her. Every day I come into Driven Jiu Jitsu is an absolute delight. They have a clean facility and professor Matt is very patient and helpful. Whether your a bigger kid like me, or a smaller kid it is always fun. I've been coming here for a couple of weeks and it's been lots of fun, even though it is tough sometimes. Not only is my professor amazing but the whole crew is helpful and polite. It's challenging but everyone needs a little challenge in life. I love to come here and it would be a lie to say that this place doesn't deserve a 5 star review. 10/10 would 100% recommend.

We love Driven Jujitsu! After one month of coming here I’ve seen a huge improvement in all 4 of my kids. Overcoming challenges, living happier and healthier lives is the least I can say. Friendly and caring staff dedicated to providing quality services to even the youngest of kids. So happy I made the decision to bring my children here. Highly recommend to any parents looking to get their kids into Jujitsu.

Whether you are just starting, or have been training for years, you will love this place! The facility is clean, with plenty of mat space but what sets Driven apart is the people. Everyone is so welcoming and the coaches go out of their way to make sure everyone is learning and improving.

I was able to train at Driven while in Boise for work. Mats are clean, instructors are great and their team is welcoming and inviting. This is the gym to go to if you’re in the Boise area.

Fantastic Jiu-Jitsu class! I’ve learned so much in just a few classes and can't wait to continue my training. Also, my son and I had a great experience at the Driven Jiu-jitsu! The instructor Matt, Kris, Mal, and Mike was very knowledgeable and patient with my son. They were able to explain the techniques clearly and provide helpful feedback. The class was a great way for us to bond and learn something new together. We would highly recommend this class! Oss!!!

As a traditional martial artist, finding a good jiu jitsu gym can be tough. The team at Driven has it all: skill, great attitudes… but most importantly the right mindset to make a REAL martial artist. The team teaches effective real world techniques as well as competition, without forgetting respect. Taking your child here will teach them self defense, respect and discipline. Coming here as an adult will teach you self defense, and help you elevate to your next level both physically and mentally. Can’t wait to see you on the mat!

This is a fantastic gym with a top-notch coaching staff. The other members are awesome and the parents (if you’re going to be sitting and watching your kid), are incredibly welcoming. I could write pages on why you should at least come give this place a try but nothing I say will convince you more than just coming in for a trial class or during one of the Sunday “open mat” days. If you’ve been looking for a gym - or looking for a new gym - you owe it to yourself to come give this place a try.
