  This academy is amazing, everyone is very welcoming, friendly, and patient with a complete beginner like me, Jamie & the rest of the instructors especially. They take the time to make sure you understand everything and feel part of the group. My only regret... not starting sooner!

  Gracie Barra Meltham Huddersfield is truly fantastic !!! My 8 year old son has been attending classes here for sometime now and he loves it. Jamie, Gabby and Nate have all provided an amazing level of training and are happy to explain techniques until my son understands, they are great role models. His confidence has grown massively since attending, the sessions are run with respect and discipline for all abilities. I have spent many happy hours myself watching my son grow, learn and improve. Thank you

  Fantastic club! My son started in January coached by Jamie, Gabby and Nate who are really welcoming and are fantastic coaches! My son has come on leaps and bounds. It's been great to watch his journey into jiu-jitsu and his confidence grow. plenty of competitions and chances to do more if you want to take that route or just train and develop yourself, There's so many reasons to join!

  This BJJ academy offers a great training environment for new starters and experienced grapplers alike. There is a really positive and nurturing culture on the mats with very knowledgeable coaches and higher ranked students who are all keen to help each other develop. The junior program is structured but still relaxed enough that the kids always seem to be having fun. I have trained at a couple of places and this academy has the most professional, yet welcoming atmosphere that I have experienced.

  I can't say enough good things about the club and the people. My son has been a member here for a few years. Quality of coaching is of the highest standard but it is the atmosphere, sense of discipline and effort put in by the instructors. It is more than a Jiu Jitsu club, it is a place where he goes to learn about life. The extra time and care they take to guide him is invaluable and amazing and very much appreciated. The number sessions available each week make the membership costs worthwhile and help with being flexible for a busy lifestyle.
