Great gym to train at, I’ve been training Muay Thai a few months now and have bounced between a few gyms but feel like I’ve found my home here. Rich is a passionate coach with a fountain of knowledge to pass on, and a genuinely nice bloke. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to start out in Muay Thai, 0 egos, world class training and a great environment to be in. Thank you Chokdee !

Brilliantly ran, welcoming martial arts gym in York. My own children attended as children & have maintained doing so in adulthood. More so, as a foster carer supporting teenagers. I have seen how Rich has the ability to motivate, build trust & resilience and positivity engage with the most disengaged young people. Hence I highly recommend!

I have been attending Chokdee for 3 years now. Started by just wanting to try something new and as a woman having never attended a martial arts gym before, the prospect was quite daunting! However Rich and Jo were so welcoming and I immediately felt at ease and comfortable. The gym is like my second home and my fight team, like a second family! I didn't know I needed this place but now I wouldn’t be without it! The training is top level! I have achieved more than I thought possible and the journey continues! Proud to fight out of Chokdee Gym!

Posted 1 year agoWould 100% recommend training here. Ive been coming for nearly 8 years and I love it. Theres a great atmosphere and team dynamic, along with world class coaching. Whether you’re wanting to compete, train for fitness or just learn new skills, chokdee is the place to be!
Amazing gym and coaching where everyone is welcome and supported! Rich is an amazing coach who really invests in his students and ensures they make progress. I do 1-2-1 sessions and look forward to them each week, they help me keep fit and learn a new skill 🙏
