Glad we found Cheeks’ Instagram page this winter. Started our 5 year old with him, and he asks to go every time we’re at the mall now! You can tell he’s looked into teaching younger kids, he’s extremely patient but can also provide discipline and structure so parents don’t have to step in when a kid isn’t paying attention. We love the confidence boost and self defense skills that our kid has learned just in the first few weeks. WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

I've been training with Larry for a while. Cheeks Martial Arts Academy provides "real life" (Urban Tactics) practical application, while respecting the history of traditional martial arts. Outstanding instruction!

Larry has done an amazing job teaching my son confidence and self-defense, during his boxing lessons. He genuinely cares about him. He even came to my son’s basketball game! I’m very thankful for Larry! Excellent skills are being taught here! I highly recommend!

I put my daughter into the class a couple months ago and now she is really into the program. The instructor is very knowledgeable and works well with the kids. I recommend everyone to at least try it out and teach our children how to defend themselves in this cruel world we live in.
