  Huge Thank you to Sensei Stephen Gillian for opening the most prestigious Shotokan Dojo in Europe and right on our doorstep here in Lisburn. 5 or 105 they provide morning and evening classes throughout the week with a huge emphasis on regaining youthful flexibility and fitness. Shotokan Karate and Krav Maga are the root art forms taught in the Dojo with visiting Specialist instructors from other schools adding their unique signature styles to share. An amazing place for kids and the family on Saturdays or if needing away from the kids for an hour, evening classes with the Seniors is the place to be. If you are interested in the traditional kata movements consisting of strikes, blocks, kicks, switching from fast to slow. Perhaps the competitions throughout Europe, UK or Ireland, weapons skills from visiting specialist instructors or fitness this is the place. My family has been greeted with open arms 3 years ago and since then we have collectively won 2 gold medals, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals in the Karate Northern Ireland Championships. It's been an amazing journey so far and a journey I never want to end. Osu!

  A great place to train.... the instructors are very good, very clear and break instructions down very easily. The facilities are fantastic, modern and easy to get to. I have been training here now for a few years and now my son goes also! Can’t rate it high enough.

  A very family friendly karate dojo! Been going 2-3x a week for 3 months now and still loving it. Each class is filled with something new and exciting. Gillian and Stephen create a great friendly and fun filled atmosphere. If you've been thinking of picking up martial arts for yourself or your children, increase you physical fitnes or learn self defense this is the place for you!

  My daughter and me attend a few classes a week. We really enjoy the classes and the sensei. I would definitely recommend the classes to anyone.
