My kids love it here! They have learned so much in just a year (less for my younger child who started at age 3). The instructors are so patient and kind. My kids have made some great friends here as well. Lastly, the after school program has been amazing and my school-aged child loves it!
Our son has been attending since he was a little over 3 years old, he loves being a little ninja and can’t wait to join the big kids! Sandra and the other instructors are so patient with the young ones and we feel our son has learned so much!
One of my sons went years ago & another one has been going for a few years now. Master McCorry & Miss Sandra are wonderful! They know & enjoy what they’re doing . They do so much for the kids ( after school program different events )they teach all ages from kids to adults & everyone in between also with disabilities….its the same as it was years ago. I’m glad my son is going there!!! Wonderful place to learn Martial arts…. they dedicate themselves to all that join . Truly a wonderful place!!!!! & People!!!!
My son started taking classes here at age 3. He was an extremely energetic kid that needed focus and guidance on how to control his body, quiet his mind, and channel emotions positively. Bruce Mccory’s martial arts gave him all of this and more in the last year and a half. They make learning martial arts fun while learning discipline and respect. I highly recommend their program.
As a women of middle age who was overweight I found a supportive community here and Master McCorry and his staff are top notch. I have lost 25 pounds in 4 months and gained strength and confidence as well as friendships. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a healthy change!
I started taking my 9 year old son to classes here when he was 5, hoping to help a sensitive boy tap into his inner confidence. After over 4 years he got that, and so much more. This school has grit and true expertise that comes from years and years of working with all kinds of children. If you are looking to help your child become more self aware, more respectful, better able to handle the ups and downs of growing up, then i believe taekwondo here will help you with that!!

My child’s worked with Master McCorry’s team since last year. They’re a fantastic organization, working closely with each student to develop their skills, coordination , and fitness. They’re taking the current COVID requirements seriously, cleaning between each class and making everyone spread out along with offering online sessions. My child absolutely loves going!

Our two boys have been attending classes for about 2 years now. What we love about Bruce McCorry's is the family atmosphere, and the very high instructor to student ratio. The turnover of both students and instructors is very low, so it feels like a family rather than a YMCA class or town sports team. It's not uncommon to see six instructors even on a slow day with 10 kids, and the instructors are long-time veterans, many in the school since they were kids. Our kids love the physical games they play, the wide variety of snacks they provide, and they always have a smile when they're training. Both kids also love the summer program, lots of field trips and fun physical games, and having training every day really advanced their skill level. With martial arts the number of choices of schools can be overwhelming, but we feel Bruce McCorry's is the best combination of family feel, fun, but also discipline - the kids are very well behaved, they run a tight ship, and don't allow fooling around. Our six year old talks about one day joining the demo team and being an instructor. It's the kind of place your kids will want to be a part of for many years to come.
Excellent experience. Both Sandra and Master McCorry were available to answer questions. Master McCorry is knowledgeable in his craft, patient in his teachings. Atmosphere conducive to learning and growing in practice. I highly recommend Master McCorry and his professional practice.

My son loves it here.. we tried 2 other facilities and neither compare! I trust the staff fully to care for my son in the after school and summer program. I signed my son up at Bruce McCorrys when he was 3. He is 6 now and he still loves it. The staff is amazing and takes their time working with the children. My son has gained some much confidence with being part of this program. I would highly recommend it.

This studio Is a wonderful way to build confidence and discipline , my son who is 9 has Tourette's syndrome and his confidence has boosted since he started. My 7 year old daughter goes and she has a lot of anxiety and shyness, she has come out of her shell just by doing Taekwondo , she loves learning new forms and her favorite is sparring.I myself was a member of Bruce MCcorry's Martial arts as a child and loved it, I decided that when my oldest daughter was interested that she was to be trained here and she loved it as well. I highly recommend this studio!
I have had the pleasure of going to Bruce McCorry's Martial Arts. First, my son, who earned his black belt. My daughter and I joined, she moved towards her black belt and I did the same while taking Kickboxing classes. 9 wonderful years of great workouts and instruction, and a great family experience to be able to go and have my kids in the other room learning as well. A great place all around.
My son has been in the little ninja's program for almost a year and is now in the after school program. The dedication Bruce and Sandra, along with the staff, have for students is great! My son loves attending Bruce McCorry's program along with making great friends along the way.
We just moved to the area after living in Africa for four years. We found the school online and were immediately struck by a video in which a woman who was disabled shared how she received her black belt. The emphasis was on helping each person challenge themselves, not on competition. Sandra and Bruce took our daughter under their wing, helping her transition from the Tae Kwon Do she had been learning to a more American version. Their attention to her has also really helped her in transitioning to the States. And since I was waiting in the lobby during her classes, Sandra encouraged me to take a kick-boxing class that coincided with her class. It was something completely new for me. I felt out of place the first day, but within five minutes Sandra made me feel completely welcomed and "in the know." The class was full of people who'd been taking the class for years and others who were brand new. Within two weeks, I started noticing great results in my strength and tone. I highly recommend Bruce McCorry, Sandra and their team.
Praying Mantis Kung Fu is one of the greatest gifts you can give to your body and mind. Gain Balance, Strength and Confidence. Master McCorry certainly gives us a workout. Everyone at this school is kind and supportive. The pace is what you make it, If you have limitations or are not in the best shape, you are encouraged to go slow. The great wall wasn't built in a day: it was built brick by brick over time. So too will be your physical ability. The Kung Fu class if filled with a truly amazing group of individuals. You will be welcomed and quickly feel at home. P.S. Master McCorry trained with the Grand Master himself, so the Kung Fu is authentic. It is a great privilege to share in his experience and guidance. My kids have been attending Bruce McCorry's martial arts for the last 7 years. They have made new friends and learned a lot. They have respect, patience. They have the knowledge and know how to defend themselves, especially since they are both girls. The students are watched closely. The summer camp program is a lot of fun as well. There are still classes but the kids have fun. They go on field trips and enjoy themselves. Bruce and Sandra work very hard at making this a success as do the employees they hire. Most of the employees are former students.
My daughter has been attending the after school program at Bruce McCorry's for almost two years. I was nervous about my kindergartener being on her own after school, but Sandra at Bruce McCorry's did a fantastic job in helping my daughter adjust. Sandra makes sure no bulling occurs in the program. My daughter loves going to Bruce McCorry's every day after school. My daughter has gained self-confidence and skills not only in Taekwondo, but also in everyday skills. Sometimes my daughter will teach me the exercises that she has learned at Bruce McCorry's. Now my daughter is in first grade with homework almost every evening. The staff helps her with her homework before her daily Taekwondo class, so that her homework is done by the time I pick her up from Bruce McCorry's, which is a big, big help. If school gets out early, the staff at Bruce McCorry's picks the kids up from school early and watches the kids. If there is a snow day or a holiday, Bruce McCorry's will watch them for several hours as well. My daughter loved the summer camp at Bruce McCorry's and she can't wait to attend this year. Excellent, excellent program! It is one of the best programs in the area!
They staff, the programs offered and the difference McCorry's makes in a child's life is top notch! The school is very accommodating, and does their absolute best with communication. My son started in the Little Ninja program at just under 4 years old. We suspected he had focus issues, and thought this would help. He's still going strong after 3 years, and LOVES it. He has made some great friends, and has learned self-confidence and focus. I can't say enough good things about them! Wonderful place, and truly care about the children and their development.
My daughter has been attending Bruce McCorry's Martial arts for 1.5 years. She now attends their after school program which has been a wonderful experience. This practice has helped her with discipline, respect, focus, and friendship. The staff at Bruce McCorry's is fantastic. They build our children's confidence and self-esteem. This day in age, it's so important to instill our little girls with self esteem and if needed, self defense.
I love it here, Master McCorry is wonderful with all levels of students! They are really supportive and help you achieve your goals, at your pace. It is a fun environment, with some really great people. I look forward to our classes all week! Highly rec!
