I brought my daughter to Cervizzi's in Lynnfield 7 years ago thinking it could be a good outlet for her energy, 7 years later it has taught her so much more than I expected. She has confidence and poise to tackle challenges in and out of the dojo. The staff are truly amazing and care about each person who walks through the door as an individual. Sensei Diana and her team at CMAA Lynnfield are the best on the North Shore. They help build good kids into great kids. Aside from all the martial arts training and skills development, my son has also learned to work hard towards his goals and has acquired values that will last a lifetime.
Cervizzi’s Martial Arts in Lynnfield is Amazing. They teach more than just self-defense techniques and many of the benefits extend beyond karate. Students learn discipline, self-respect, self-control and confidence. These are benefits from instruction, effort in a structured environment. Post-covid-> the dojo enhanced their teaching offerings to include online learning as well as thoughtful in-person classes (limiting class size, taking temperatures, wearing masks, and cleaning between each class). Cervizzi’s Martial Arts in Lynnfield has been the one consistent activity during Covid and it is a testament to the dedication of the instructors and staff. Our daughter has been going for 4+ years. We saw how much she was growing that our son joined for the past 3+ years, and to make it a family bond, I joined 2 years ago. I have witnessed each of our growth. One annual tournament really stuck out to me. Our daughter entered a competition for weapons, forms, and sparring. Before the forms event, she had to speak in front of the judges (and about 75+ spectators). I felt nervous for her but the crowd didn’t impede her one bit. She remain focused and executed her form flawlessly. I share this specific moment because it is another benefit beyond classes: the ability to practice, practice, practice, execute and compete. We highly recommend Cervizzi’s Martial Arts Academy!
As a student here I can say they do a very thorough job of getting the forms into our head and remembering them.
I can't say enough about the owner and the staff here. It's been a joy to watch the kids fall in love with karate. If I'm being honest, I think it's because of how wonderful the staff is. They are confidence building masters with the patience of saints. If you are thinking about finding something that can teach your child more about structure, self reliance, and confidence, I highly suggest checking them out!
My 7 yr old daughter just started a few months ago and has already learned so much! Her confidence and strength are growing more and more each week.
