BTT in San Antonio is my happy place. The coaches are phenomenal and really care about your development. The students are courteous, fun to train with and never get out of control. The training is tough but the coaches keep it safe. It’s a great place for everyone because it is run by professionals who treat everyone with respect. They truly care and it shows. My experience with BTT has been amazing. I started training here a little over a year ago and my only complaint is that I didn’t start sooner. I started because I’ve always wanted to learn jiu jitsu but I’ve gotten much more. In the process I’ve gotten in shape and lost a good amount of weight. All the coaches are great and always go above and beyond to help you learn. Thank you professor Diego and Dennis for giving me the opportunity to train there.

As a young woman, I was always reluctant to train and join a combat sports gym because of its intimidating male-dominated popularity. I recently joined this Brazilian Top Team gym here in San Antonio, TX and can’t say enough how happy I am to have found it. I’ve never felt safer, more comfortable and welcome than I do here. Also, I’ve never imagined how much this combat sport would help with my physical and mental health. This is huge for me. And it’s very impressive how Coach Diego and Coach Denise have created such a wonderful environment where everyone is so kind and respectful towards each other. This is the best jiu jitsu academy! Profesor Diego and his team are very experienced and they are great teachers. The training partners are amazing and you get the best jiu jitsu training. La mejor escuela en San Antonio TX. Fueron muy amables en aceptarme ya que cada año viajo a SAT, ninguna escuela quería darme 1 clase (aún pagando). @diegogamonalbjj es un máster, sus clases son de lo mejor. Tiene mucha paciencia y te explica super bien la técnica, su esposa @eduraes2016 es un amor, me hizo sentir muy bien ya que comenzó a hablarme en español, todo fue muy fácil, también es una experta en BJJ. Está muy equipado, cuentan con tatami, jaula, área de pesas y funcional. Las clases para los niños son lo mejor. Es una excelente opción para entrenar BJJ, Muay Thai o MMA. El lugar es amplio, super limpio, hay regaderas, vestidores, estacionamiento. Muy seguro. Lugar de campeones ya que muchos son profesionales. I came to the area to visit from New York, I wanted to hit a jujitsu class while I was here and reached out to a handful of schools . Brazilian Top Team was the only place to return my call and I was able to jump right in , I was welcomed by everyone and loved the expirence , the quality of instruction was fantastic and would highly recommend this place from beginner to expert . My daughter is in the kids Muay Thai. She really enjoys it and the coach seems to really care about the children learning,firm but not strict. Very professional.

I stopped in here while on military orders, and I was extremely impressed from the start. One of our friends recommended me to train here as I’m an mma fighter who specializes in BJJ. Prof Diego is a great instructor with world class knowledge and skill, and not only that the whole team welcomed me in. Anthony Ivy and his wife were super welcoming, and Anthony is a UFC veteran. Only place in Texas to train, besides the other BTT affiliates of course.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! We've been members for over 3 years and this was honestly the best decision I've made for my kids. My son and daughter take Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai classes and I've never been less than impressed by the coaching. All of the coaches are great with the kids and they make sure that the techniques are learned correctly. I've recommended several people to this gym and will keep recommending since I'm so happy here. The gym really is like a family and everyone is genuinely nice and friendly from the moment you walk in the doors. Diego, the owner and head coach, truly cares about your experience there and makes sure that you are more than satisfied as a member. We've found a home gym for life!

If I lived in the area this would be my new home! Amazing place with even more amazing people! Dropped in for two days in a row and was greeted with open arms. Felt very comfortable there like I'd been training there for a long time. The place is a one stop shop! They've got a cage and many types of bags for striking. Plus a large mat space with great quality mats. There is a lot of gym equipment as well as locker rooms with showers. I'll be happy to be in the area again so I can train here again thanks for everything guys and Thank you Professor Deigo!

This gym is hands down best Jiu Jitsu Gym in Texas! Our coach Diego Gamonal is renowned world champion! We have many black belts always available for any questions or teaching who have also won world championships. There are beginners, advance, and no gi classes weekly. We also have conditioning classes tought by Melissa Ortega who is amazing! She details each class towards Jiu Jitsu. At the end of each class, we have Acai readily available to cool our body's down and just relax with a delicious snack!

I Tried a few schools before settling here The training is world class with multiple world champions and seasoned pro fighters they are super friendly and patient and are all equally passionate about what they teach and patient enough to stay after class to troubleshoot any issues you are having and answer any questions. I cant explain the growth i have experienced here. just a great group of guys and training partners its like a family here.
Btt San Antonio is our second home. It has been the best thing I could have ever done for my daughter is enroll her here. The coaches are awesome they push her, encourage her and build her up. If you are looking for a place to train and a family. This is it. I love it here So much.
I’m a black belt fourth-degree jiu Jutsu, training for more than twenty-six years. Whenever I can visit the Academy of Diego Gamonal. I can guarantee that jiu-jitsu taught there is equal to or better than jiu-jitsu academies in Brazil. I had the opportunity to train with several students of Diego and all presented a great level of jiu-jitsu, both technical and philosophical, showing humility and respect to the opponent! Great place, great people. The third degree black belt Professor Diego Gamonal, continues to teach and complete all over the world. He is a multiple times world Champion, that makes time for all of his students and parents. If high level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is what you want, hands down the best in San Antonio. They now have two locations one in San Antonio and one in Schertz, just north of town. All of the coaches are top notch as well.
