Great training facility with quality talent and welcoming environment. I travel a lot and really appreciated the hospitality of this great gym. The facility is well organized and well kept. The professors were welcoming and the students are of very high caliber. Highly recommend Gustavo and his team. Will definitely be coming here whenever in Portland.

My son who is seven joined the Top Team Happy Valley gym about seven months ago. It’s the highlight of his week. I am amazed of how many skills that he learns in class benefits his everyday life outside of class. He’s puts forward more FOCUS and effort then I have ever seen. I am truly convinced this is the best thing for him. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring for each kids individual personality and needs. His confidence and determination have improved drastically. I can’t recommend it more.

My kids joined BTT's kids program in January after spending a few months at a different gym and the difference for them has been night and day. We knew from the first class that there was a level of intentionality in the children's program that was unmatched by other local programs. Ours kids have grown leaps and bounds in both their technical abilities as well as in their confidence. All of the coaches and assistants (and admin!) have been phenomenal - from the moment they greet the kids at the beginning of class to the technical training and games, super thankful to have great coaches investing in our kids.

If you’re looking to compete Gus is a general strategist, creating an army of jiu jitsu competitors. I’ve made some of my best friends and learned a lot. Great and welcoming atmosphere.

As an almost 50 year old, I had a bit of trepidation in trying Brazilian jiu-jitsu (or any martial arts). I’ve been attending about two classes a week as well as an occasional private class for a few months. I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with Gus, his team, and my fellow students. Gus fosters an atmosphere of collaboration, mutual respect, safety, trust, and enjoyment. I always look forward to attending and highly recommend.
