I had my first class not to long ago I'm 14 I did the kids class it's clear instruction and teaching it's great and then I did the adults class I assumed whoever I would work with would rather be with an adult for better competition and no one would wanna work with me however that wasn't the case I found a partner and he realized I didn't really know what I was doing so he taught me a bunch of stuff I'm gonna keep going here great place to go no rude staff or anything everyone's great

Great top tier gym. Amazing peers and coaches. The owners and managers are very fair and serious. I've learned so much in a short time. Update: still a member here for years. Still the best brother sisterhood one could hope for in martial arts.

This gym is the best to go to! The coaches are always welcoming. I go to the jiu jitsu classes and I always learn something new. The bathrooms are neat and clean. The service is great and the workers always make your day.

Our TKD team visited for an all ages jiujitsu seminar. The kids had a great time, gym was clean and well lit. Seems as though this is a reputable gym with something to offer advanced MMA athletes down to young children. Instructors were knowledgeable, patient and welcoming.

I fear that if my review is too long people won't read it so I'm just going to keep it short and sweet! SMOOCHES!! THIS gyms atmosphere and vibes are off the charts GOOGLIE GOOD!! makes me feel like I'm at home when I'm not even at home.... So take it from me who has been to probably 20 different martial arts gyms and dojos over the last 10 years all over the south west west coast and PNW baby!! (Portland's the sexiest) this one's for EVERYBODY!!! It's a gosh darn beautiful place where religions cultures race ethnicity and sexual orientation are all transcended and we are all one maybe martial arts gyms are the future to uniting and enlightening people come join the future!!!!!

This camp is legit. I've only taken the BJJ Fundamental classes and it's challenging, great for cardio. All the professors and coaches I've met were friendly and passionate about what they do. Other students were welcoming as well. Unfortunately, I had to leave because of moving to another city.

Hands down some of the best instruction in the PNW if not the best ..Master Fabiano is a true world class coach and person. Highly recommended. I have trained at over 20 gyms around the country and the culture and instruction here ranks them at the top. If you are interested in reaching your goals you must give GB Portland a try. You won't regret it!!
