A phenomenal gym with dedicated members and coaches. Encouraging of both growth of skill and character. Highly recommend.
Even as a beginner I immediately felt welcomed, and now I look forward to every class. Highly recommended!
Friendly atmosphere, straight forward coaching with attention to detail, smaller gym so you receive a lot of attention from the coaching staff. If in the Portland area definitely worth stopping by for the Tiger Style experience.
Best gym to train in Oregon! Very clean and nice inside. Classes very well structured.
An incredible mma gym with true technical training. The coach really cares about the students, no matter the age, and pushes everyone to be a better version of themselves.
I’ve had the pleasure of being the head Jiu-Jitsu instructor at Tiger Style Combat Club, and I can honestly say this place has it all! Recently, we completed a major remodel, including brand-new mats, fresh paint, and upgraded lighting, creating a fantastic training environment. At Tiger Style, you can train Jiu-Jitsu with me, a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or Muay Thai with our experienced Kru, Achilles. The atmosphere here is welcoming and supportive, with great people and a strong sense of community. Whether you’re a seasoned fighter or a beginner, there’s something for everyone. Come check us out on Foster Road—you won’t regret it!
First of all, I want to say how proud I am at the Coach. He has come a long ways. He just remodeled the whole gym and it looks fantastic! he didn’t do it just for himself, but he did it for the whole team. The coach is a welcome person and he will see you as his family. I can’t wait to go back on December. I’m really excited and thrill to go back. If you are interested don’t hesitate to be part of the team or if you have questions just reach out to him.
Absolutely amazing!! Beautiful space and quality instruction. I've trained Martial Arts since 2002 in 4 countries (not counting Canada or Mexico) and this is some of the best training around; bar none!
My adult son loves it here, has been going for years (4+), and I'm super pleased too! Great rates, awesome coach, and welcoming atmosphere over all. Adults and kids alike get tons out of coming here! I see them smiling going in and out, and my son tells me new stuff he learns every week. He attends both weekly classes and private lessons. He has taken fights and competitions, and keeps on learning! The owner/Kru truly cares about all his students. Great local business to support!
if you are looking for a top tier gym and training facility for Muay Thai and BJJ than dont look any further than TCS, i can confidently say its one of the best decisions i have made for my fitness and martial arts journey. Kru Achillies and Coach's Hammer and Vinny are all phenomenal in their craft and have fostered an incredible no ego environment where personal growth is the only goal. I came in with zero Muay Thai experience and signed up just as something i thought would be fun and and a good workout and it has been that much and more. The classes are a perfect blend of technical drills, conditioning and sparring that will have you advancing in the sport in a safe way and enjoying yourself regardless of skill level. What sets TCS apart is the community that Kru Achillies has fostered where from coaches to students you are only surrounded by those who want to see you be better. The students here comprise everyone from current belt holders to beginners all with the same goal. As long as you are a person with a healthy respect for others, the gym and the sport you will not regret your decision to join.
I work with children, I came to this place learning how to protect them. The first day I stepped in, was also the first day I took 2 back to back classes (1 hour Jiu Jitsu w/professor Bob, 1 hour Muay Thai w/ Kru Achilles). I have taken 30+ classes including 1 on 1 training with Kru Achilles. This is my 1st gym, as well as my first 2 martial arts. I came with the intent to become a champion for children. My Kru as well as his loyal students honor me by taking time out of their classes to help me learn this ferocious art. I train amongst experienced fighters, champions, and those waiting for their day of glory in the octagon. Achilles has earned the title of KRU. Kru is not something that can be bought, bargained, or stolen. It is earned through blood, sweat, dedication, and 100% commitment. It is a title that must be PROVEN and EARNED. I believe in my Kru, he has been extremely patient, as well as flexible with changing teaching styles to help me understand. He is humble, he is brave, and stoic with a shadow standing 20 feet tall. This is a place where glory is earned. And I am honored to be a part of this community.
Nothing but good things to say about this gym. My son been going here for about 4 months now and he loves it. The Confidence he’s built due to the Coaches dedication speaks for itself. If you’re looking for a gym look no more!
Honestly, Five stars is not enough! This gym, the coaches and team are great. They take a lot of pride in the teaching of their students. You’re not just a student, you’re family. The coaches, the team and the parents of the other students made my daughter feel like family from day one. This place is amazing! My daughter had been training Jiujitsu at a different school, it was a great gym, but she wanted more, more than just JiuJitsu. She wanted to truly learn. Wanted Muay Thai. She wanted a more personal experience, we found it! Her skills and confidence has exploded in such a short amount of time. Thank you Tiger Style! Thank you coach Achilles and team!
Coach Achilles and his amazing young staff create an inviting culture for all ages!! This is the gym to join if you are looking for lifelong achievements and becoming family!! You will never be disappointed!! Absolutely love TigerStyle Combat Sports!!
Where do I begin? Coach Achilles is awesome. I love His tough love and maybe it’s not for everyone but his Lectures and reasoning, align with our goals to raise strong minded kids. .My favor equation from him “a loss doesn’t mean you’re a loser , it means you won buy a learning experience so you can improve!” & turn it to positive inspirations. I really go for the musics though 😉 You’ll never find an all gym like TCS. Who cares and spends allot of one on one time with all his kids. Coach Hammer, Co Vinnny, professor Liv and the TCS family are amazing!
My son started goin to the back in 2023 and I was pretty nervous for him however so was my son. My nervousness went away when my son came home that day so happy and excited that he found a new passion. That really made me happy due to the fact he hasn’t had much interest in much since he got injured in 2017. He’s already had his first bout and that experience made him grow and he got the confidence he needed. During the time he was preparing for this bout I was right there with him experiencing the whole thing too!! I will say during this whole thing I was scared and nervous for him but Coach Achilles and Caysen, Vinny all help easy that with him tht they were providing to him. Coach Achilles and I talked for a while and he is a great guy and an even awesomer coach. He really has some good people behind him. Even the little ones are outstanding and just as Caysen, and Vinny they’re extremely helpful and explains to the newer people and show them the correct way. All around I am so happy to be apart of this gym as well just like I know my son is…. Even if he isn’t there he’s always talking about the gym and the guys.
Coach Achilles is a great coach he really cares for the safety of the gym members. He demonstrates the technique a few times and if you have any questions more than happy to answer them. There’s great assistant coaches with Cayson and Vinny who are very helpful as well and patient. The atmosphere is great and they’re always welcoming which helps u get over ur nerves. The jiu jitsu instructor Liz is very much observant as well and explains the basics and shows the proper techniques. All in all I started coming to this gym in Aug of 23 and I can say this gym is definitely my second home. The gym can be a great source to get conditioned and to learn how to properly handle yourself. They have sessions for the lil ones as well. My nephew is pretty excited to go check it out for his self. I definitely recommend coming in and seeing for yourself if this is for u.
Great gym, the instructors focus on the students and really make you feel like you’re getting what you’re paying for, you will leave every class being more confidant in your abilities and the environment is supportive and without shame, constructive criticism is on point and focused and your improvement and safety is paramount.
As a Veteran I get very uneasy in rooms full of people, I didn’t feel that in the atmosphere here. I felt welcomed like i’ve trained here 1,000 times but it was only my first! The Head coach Achilles is a great guy I came in a little early to stretch and the kids class was going on, let’s just say I can’t wait for Achilles to work with my son when he’s old enough! Great gym, Great coaches, Even better atmosphere!
5 stars really aren't enough. I am so glad I found TCS. I have been so impressed with the intuitive way Coach Achilles approaches all of his students. I have a child with special needs and a typically developing child training at TCS and they both love it, feel welcome, and are being held to appropriately high standards based on their abilities. TCS is a really special place. It's more than a gym, it's a community. I wholeheartedly recommend TCS!
If you are looking for a place so start out your martial arts journey then this is the place for you. Great environment and amazing coaches. A real community focused gym. Great kids and adults programs offered for jiu-jitsu and an amazing Muay-Thai program for those looking to strike. It’s a one stop shop for martial arts. Give it a try you won’t regret it!
One of the top schools in Portland area, great hands on coaching by head instructor Achilles who puts all his heart into his students and teaches not only Muay thai, but also jujitsu and MMA. They also have a great kids club for all ages as well. If your looking for self defense or to compete in Bjj, kickboxing/ Muay Thai or MMA then this is the place to be with a clean training room great coaching and friendly students of all levels.
Awesome place to learn and refine BJJ and Muay Thai for both casual and serious practitioners. Coaches here are highly skilled and provide excellent instruction. This gym is very welcoming, and is dedicated to the success of its students.
This gym is amazing! Great vibe, lots of experienced professors (instructors) coming through to willingly share their knowledge with everyone in the gym and the owner makes sure you’re having a blast while doing so. They have a great kids Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu jitsu programs as well as adults. Come in and try it for yourself you WILL NOT regret it.
TigerStyle has great Muay Thai and BJJ programs for both children and adults. High level instruction, allows for beginners to develop quickly, and for people with more experience to be challenged daily. Coach Achilles particularly is superb with the kids, and you can tell that they love classes with him, by how excited and happy they are when they come in. I teach adult BJJ here once a week, and it's always one of the highlights of my week. Good people, a warm environment, and high level instruction! What else could you want?
Looking for a friendly hard working gym? This is it! Achilles runs a great gym with world class Muay Thai and elite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! His years of experience and huge passion will get you to the top of your game, both Adults and Kids!
I came here while I visited home from overseas. The coach was very welcoming and so were the others attending. The technique taught here is very effective and I will continue practicing what coach taught here. The sparring was great as well. Whenever I visit family, this will definitely be a home gym for me in Portland. For others reading, it's definitely a great place to train. I highly recommend this place.
Great place to train and grow. Coach Bryan is a great teacher that really cares about each of his student's successes. He fosters a supportive environment that attracts postive members and great coaches. I haven't felt this good in a long while. Everything you need is here...Show up and be ready to bring it!
If you’re looking for a gym that has great structure, awesome coaches and a fun learning environment for all ages look no further. Coach Achilles at tiger style combat has you covered. This gym is NOT your typical big box gym with 30-40 students in a class where you barely get any actual hands on instructions. Coach Achilles really cares about his students and makes sure you’re learning what you’re paying for but at the same time having fun while you’re doing it. I enrolled my boys ages 8 and 12 a month ago and I have to say although they’re students at tiger style combat, we feel and are treated like family there. TCS!
I joined after coming to an Open Mat night and was immediately made to feel like family. This is my first time participating in a martial art and I've felt supported and celebrated as I take everything in. I fully recommend this gym, the instructors and other members are always willing to meet you where you're at and are truly wonderful!
This is a great gym. It's extremely friendly and welcoming to all, regardless of your training background (or lack thereof). I've had the opportunity to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu all over (e.g., Buffalo, NY; Houston, TX; Waco, TX; Austin; TX; Webster, TX; and Phoenix, AZ) and TigerStyle is at the top of my list. The Muay Thai classes are exceptional. As a beginner in Muay Thai, the coach and fellow students were extremely welcoming. I would highly recommend stopping by for one of their introductory classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and/or Muay Thai. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai are great ways to improve your health, fitness, and longevity. All ages and experience levels (including beginners) are welcomed!
I’ve been training at TCS for almost 1/2 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The team is very welcoming and willing to teach newcomers everything they know about Muay Thai and bjj. I’ve improved a ton as a fighter and will continue to do so with the family at TCS💙
A great gym with a great vibe and hardworking members. Kru Achilles has big heart and cares deeply for his students. I’m very happy to have found this place for my bjj journey.
TigerStyle Combat Sports has been a great experience for me. As a complete novice to Muay Thai, my primary goal was to improve my fitness. Coach Achilles and the trainers here are incredibly patient and supportive, catering to beginners like myself. They take the time to ensure that you grasp the basics and steadily progress at your own pace. I am a little over a month in and have had a significant improvement in my fitness and confidence. I have done CrossFit style group workouts in the past and find this to be much more fun. I look forward to every class and highly recommend to anyone looking to get fit while learning a new skill.
Great place to learn muay Thai and bjj. The coach's here are amazing and nice. the people you meet are also nice and Will help you if you need it. It's a great place to start a martial Art journey or to start losing weight. would recommend going to this place if you're looking for one of those or both
I walked into TCS back on August 14th of 2023. First time coming to the gym I was definitely a bit nervous but once you get into the gym and get met with kindness and respect from all the other members the jitters went away at least for me. Coach Achilles is a great coach truly he demonstrates what he wants it to look like, walks around watching all members and if you’re new you get to work with some great members who help coaching. The atmosphere is great especially if you’re looking for a getting shape type of workout or if you’re really looking into fighting. I’ve been going everyday day since I joined up and I’m definitely here for good. I’ll say this since joining I’ve been dedicated to coach and to the club. I recommend it to anyone who looking to join a family.
I started training at tiger style combat sports about a month ago and it has been nothing but stellar. The camaraderie and atmosphere that Kru Achilles creates in his gym is great and helps elevate everyone that trains there to higher level. Everyone has been nothing but welcoming and encouraging and I’m looking forward to continuing my journey here. All are welcome whether you’re looking to start taking fights or simply want a great place to train I’d definitely recommend this gym.
This has been my first time training jiu jitsu and felt very welcomed in this space. Achilles and Jacob are great coaches and the team is very encouraging to those of all skill levels. Lizzy is also amazing and would love to see more female energy in the gym!
Visiting portland and came to the gym while in town for some No Gi instruction while away from my home gym. Great gym, period: Coaches are knowledgeable, friendly and know how to push; the students are great partners to an out of towner like myself, and the facility was spotless and clean. There was a focus on the technical side of things while I was attending the class, which I appreciated - we got to progress from movement to movement, which was perfect. If you're coming to Portland, you can't go wrong with TigerStyle Combat Sports. I'll be coming back everytime I'm in town.
If you're looking for a gym that can help you build strength, increase your stamina, and give you a sense of accomplishment, look no further than the tigerstyle combat sports! Since joining, I have been blown away by the benefits it has provided me. Mentally and physically. First and foremost, coach Achilles is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He takes the time to work with each member of the gym, regardless of their skill level or experience. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced fighter, the trainers are there to help you improve your technique and reach your goals. Beyond the trainers, the gym itself is a welcoming and inclusive environment. I have met some truly amazing people at the gym, and the sense of community has been incredible. Everyone is supportive and encouraging, and it's a great feeling to be surrounded by the people who you’ll learn to call your team.
I started the beginner Muay Thai classes a couple weeks ago and I could not recommend it enough. Achilles is an excellent instructor, super cool and great energy. Thank you for the opportunity to learn from you! I left every class excited for the next one and what I would learn next. Part of the joy of this experience is found in how great the people in the classes are. It was so fun! I appreciate how willing everyone is to learn and teach what they’ve learned, the atmosphere is *chiefs kiss. Thank you so much to everyone I met and spared with! Truly a 10/10, I hope to be back whenever I am in the city again. I loved my time and will continue to take classes wherever I go!
I recently signed up for the Muay Thai and BJJ program. Coach Achilles is patient and puts a lot of care and attention into his classes. I am particularly impressed by the other students in the class, who in addition to being highly skilled, are also patient and eager to teach and will respectfully critique my form. The quality of the students speaks to coach Achilles's abilities as a leader and teacher.
Our wrestling team was in Portland last weekend for the State Championship Tournament. Unfortunately the weather decided to turn to a winter snow storm, and everything closed. Achilles opened his gym to the team where they were able to get a great practice in. The facility was clean, professional, and perfect for the team’s needs. Thank you for going out of your way and being a bright light in a very snowy and icy day!
My eight-person state wrestling team needed a place to train during last week’s snow and ice storm. We were warmly welcomed to train at Tigerstyle by Achilles. His facilities were clean, orderly and fun. Achilles was so encouraging and interested in my team members.
Visiting Portland for Oregon State Wrestling Championships. The town was shut down due to a terrible snow storm and our team needed a workout. We called Achilles and he immediately agree to meet us. Excellent customer service and a great place for the team to spar.
Due to weather, our State wrestling tournament was post poned, which left us needing a last minute place to get a practice in. Owner, Achilles, immediately agreed and let us use his gym. He was super encouraging and supportive of each of us. He was excited to see me and my other 2 female teammates walk in. He wants to expand the reach of wrestling, mma, and things of that sort to more women and children. Great place, super friendly owner, overall a good experience.
This place is awesome. My high school teams state tournament was postponed a day and needed a place to practice. It took one simple call. The owner, Achilles is super cool and let us work on anything we wanted. Really chill and cool place.
Snow storms in the Pacific Northwest can bring out the worst in people but then there are those that put forth their best. Achilles is one of the best. As an out of town wrestling team (Siuslaw High School) waiting for a delayed state tournament to start, we needed a place for our wrestles to get a work out in. All it took was one phone call and our need was filled. Achilles with Tigers style combat sports saved the day. The only regret is we didn’t get to meet the rest of the club members, which if they mirror at all the rest of what we saw must be a wonderful group of humans. THANK YOU AND ON TO STATE!!
It's been some time since I've trained so I contacted Achilles. He was very responsive and was happy to answer any questions that I had. Achilles was extremely welcoming and allowed me to take part in a trial class. Gym is team orientated and is reminiscent of the early days of MMA when people used to train for the love it and not focused on fame or money.
I was living in Portland for awhile trying to decide which gym to start my journey at an im so glad I choose tiger style combat sports. The classes are tailored for both beginner an advanced practitioners. Achilles and everyone were very friendly and welcoming and I highly suggest this gym if your looking to start your new years on the right foot.
My partner and I visited to check out the beginners Muay Thai class. Achilles was super nice and easy to work with. It was my first time trying a combat sport and by the end of the class we were throwing jabs and kicks. Highly recommend for individuals looking to get started and move quickly.
Top mma club in oregon. Coach Achilles is very committed to making his students the best fighters they can be and best humans they can be outside of the cage. Highly recommended if you’re looking to take your martial arts to the next level!
I have been training since 2012, spending most of my time at a larger gym. However after moving away, I have been floating around to smaller gyms and open mats for a few years. COVID took its toll as well. I had been eyeing Tiger's Den for a while every trip to the adjacent WinCo. Finally, in September I decided to walk in and sign up. Coach Bryan runs a tight ship all by himself, and scales his teaching to all levels. He creates a welcoming, relaxed, and solid mma atmosphere. I dig it and am motivated to train as much as possible. The pricing is fair, the other members are equally chill, and the vibe is always good. We are all there to get better and get a good workout. As a father of two, I am considering bringing my kids in when they are old enough.
I am writing this review as a celebration of my one year anniversary of attendance at the Tiger’s Den. Throughout my MMA journey I have never been so moved to regularly attend classes and inspired to achieve my goals than I have this past year. Coach Bryan and the Tiger’s Den community have helped me grow not only physically but mentally helping me succeed elsewhere in life. Coach Bryan’s ever expanding compassion and knowledge for MMA is contagious and has become a huge inspiration to my journey. I highly recommend!
I drove to Portland from out of state to attend a Yokkao Muay Thai seminar at Tiger’s Den MMA. The seminar was beyond amazing and I asked the Tiger’s Den owner Coach Bryan if could schedule a private session the following day since I was in town. It was super kind of him to carve out time to take a drop-in student from another gym. In our session, Coach Bryan really went out of his way to understand where I am as a martial artist and to show me a ton of new footwork and combinations to add to my skill set. In martial arts, brand new things take a lot of time and patience from the instructor. Coach Bryan was very encouraging and clear with his instructions not to mention a ton of fun to work with. I could not have felt more welcome and came away from Tiger’s Den feeling like I had added a lot to my toolkit and made a new friend in Coach Bryan who truly loves Muay Thai. Needless to say, I’ll be making another visit to Tiger’s Den in the future and look forward to training with them soon.
If you're looking for a gym that is truly and deeply rooted in mma culture, Tiger's Den is it. Coach Bryan is the real deal. His students respect him because he respects us (all of us) and the moment class is over I can't wait until the next time I can attend. I've been in other gyms, but never felt like I found what I was looking for. I won't be looking any further. I am so grateful to have found my spot at TDMMA.
Awesome experience for our first kickboxing class. Very welcoming for all skill levels including beginners and felt comfortable there no matter your gender or race or background. Definitely recommend to try it out. ClassPass is a good place to see the classes and give it a try.
Coach Bryan and Coach Alcir are two men I admire miles above most others, not only for the work they do here but for the experience they provide. There are few places in the modern world where you can both train as a modern warrior while remaining enthralled in an atmosphere and experience that keeps bringing you back in as effectively as it does and The Den is everything this is and more. I credit Coach Bryan especially for, almost singlehandedly, reigniting my love for combat sports and if you live in the area there are few better decisions you could make for your health and mind than coming out to a class, I promise you that youll change your life
Signing up my son for this gym was one of the best decisions I could’ve ever made. Coming out of the pandemic I was looking to get my son back active in sports and find him safe opportunities to socialize after so much time in the home and online. Coach Brian was so informative and welcoming from our first message and when we met face to face I was sure I made the right decision. This gym offers education as well as camaraderie. Not to mention my son has gained skills, self confidence and new lifelong friendships. Seeing his growth each week has shown me how much he genuinely enjoys the gym. My child had little to no knowledge of muay thai, kickboxing or wrestling. Now after 4months he can watch a pro MMA fight and identify the moves and has even tried them on adults who were shocked at his skill level. This gym is open to all genders and I love how the kid classes allow younger students to practice and train with older students. My son 10 has a 15 year old sparring partner and this has helped him tremendously. Thank you coach Brian.
I dropped in on the Saturday morning Muay Thai MMA class and found the facilities and even the loaner equipment to be super clean, which was super welcoming. The class itself was very technique focused, working from basic rhythm and defense to set ups using rhythm breaks and sweeps. The head coach, Bryan, was very clear and detailed in what he was looking for. Great coach, great gym, highly recommend!
This place is amazing. It’s very beginner friendly and just all around a great place to get some exercise and skills. Coach Bryan is a treat. He’s friendly,Honest and makes sure the environment stays relaxed and welcoming making it a lot easier to learn everything. I came in about three months ago with zero striking experience, and at first it was a little intimidating but I got to know the other students and they were All extremely nice and welcoming. Now after three months I feel tons more confident in they gym and also just in my daily life and I seriously look forward to class i go to. They also got a new jujitsu coach who is also really friendly but also has a mean ground game so your getting what you pay for. So if you have any excuse or interest in mixed martial arts I highly suggest you go here.
This place is AMAZING! My daughter attended their 6 week program and from day 1 she loved it! She finished her 6 weeks and now has a membership. She loves her coach and can’t wait to go to class. One thing as a parent I love, is that the child can attend all classes throughout the week, which is more than worth membership. The coaches not only teach the sport but also actually sit down with the kids and have real talks with them. The instill healthy discipline as well, which is another great benefit as a parent. I would 10/10 recommend Tigers Den for anyone!
My 11 year old son loves this place! He is learning discipline and life skills. Coach Brian is great with teaching the kids both MMA and the important life skills. In just a short time I have already noticed my son taking on more leadership roles and being more respectful.
I brought a friend who is completely new to combat sports and by the end of our private Bryan had him smoothly doing Dutch drills and flowing. Nice facility, great coaching, and a really welcoming environment. We had a really great time and I’ll definitely be back until next time I’m in Portland. Thanks! 🥊
My 8 year old daughter starting taking classes at Tigers Den about a month ago and she absolutely loves it. I can already see the boost in confidence it’s given her. As a super plus Coach Bryan makes a point of instilling integrity, respect and discipline during class which he expects the kids to apply in their lives outside of class. Highly recommended!!
After many years of martial arts training I started training at Tiger’s Den. Instantly I could see that Coach Bryan has a vast knowledge of Muay Thai, JJ, wrestling, boxing and Karate. His ability to blend these styles in very practical ways blew me away. He has opened up my mind and taken me to a new level of training. I highly recommend this gym.
. This is a really great space for a variety of folk and fighters. I was new in town with zero expectations and a bunch nerve pain. Some months later, my mobility is greatly improved and my connection to my own body is stronger than ever. Coach Bryan is the real deal; keen, intuitive, and dedicated to progress. The other members have been a blast to train with, always conscientious and more skillful by the hour. I never end a day on a bad note after coming here.
The coaches Bryan and Alex have made my boys not want to miss a class they get sad if we have to. We did taekwondo before and sometimes had to force them so i was a tad nervous about this class at first but coach Bryan takes the time to do one on one and respect each kids diffrences. I have one outgoing boy and one shy one and he has made them both comftable as well as teaching them life skills MMA it is a great class!
One of the best decisions I've ever made was to enroll my Son with Tigers Den MMA club. Coach Brian has an amazing way of meeting every individual where their at,not only does he teach them techniques, but also levels of respect and compassion. It's a beautiful thing to witness all the kids showing him respect in return.
Been going to the Tigers Den for over 3 months. Coach Brian is knowledgeable and and straight to the point. Its a fun atmosphere for learning the martial and gain real training for beginners to advance. Private lessons are very hands on, one on one training that will give you all the fundamentals and advanced training you want. Great place to learn MMA and find other people of the same mind set.
My 8 year old daughter started the "eye of the tiger" challenge a few months ago and she is ABSOLUTELY IN 💞LOVE💞with this class! We all are! She is always so excited to go, and comes out beaming after every lesson! So excited to show off her new moves and tell everyone what she learned that day🥊😀🥊I can't say enough good things about her coaches! Especially coach Bryan! They have a special bond already😊 and he has boosted her confidence 1000%! As a parent, it's really heart warming to watch🥰 He's an excellent coach, and is awesome with all the kids. It's also not just the training, he teaches them about life, being a good person and how to deal with bullies and stand up for people. I couldn't be happier we chose to sign her up, and we plan on staying in the Tiger's Den family permanently for sure! ❤❤ Thanks for all you guys do! ❤❤
We love the coaches and the team ! Very professional, very friendly, and the coaches are great with the kids. My son is actually learning something and looks forward to coming everyday. He love it and always looking forward for his class every week. The coaches always teach the kids new stuff everyday. Thanks for all you do guys!
Love this Club. Coach Bryan is amazing and really takes the time to go over the what, how and why when learning new moves. The other members are just as great. We all help each other and have fun while doing it. Just finished the 6 week eye of the tiger challenge. As of today I am down 18lbs and feeling so much healthier.
Would not spend money to go here again. With a whole host of gyms in the area don’t waste your time. If you’re going to spend the amount of money it cost to train you owe it to yourself or your child to find a reputable place. Got staff infection within my first couple of weeks here and it wasn’t just me there was a whole outbreak, had classes led by other students and not the actual head coach, had the coach complain about other students who weren’t present for lessons and cut classes short when I was the only one showing up. I was told I’d be refunded after getting charged when I cancelled my membership with 27 days notice instead of 30, and never received my refund. Not only did I not receive my refund the owner/head coach ghosted me and completely ignored my messages asking about it after they told me they were putting it through. I’m surprised this place is called a gym and not a comedy club because it’s a freaking joke. This guy isn’t here to coach you he’s here to make a buck off you. Seriously spend your money elsewhere.
I had a bad experience at the Tiger's Den Gym. I am a 60 year old newbie. I paid about $1,000.00 for some private lessons to ease myself into the sport. Coach-Owner "Achilles" repeatedly lost his temper and yelled at me. He berated me. Repeatedly. I also heard him berate other, younger students. I imagine he is a good coach for hard core experienced fighters. I enjoy the sport. I won't give up. I will find a respectful gym.
